Chapter 49: An Adorable Turn of Event(1)
(Cafeteria, Site-19, America - 8:00 AM)
(Rodeo's Pov)
Hello there. It's me. Well how do I start?
It's been one day since me, Evan and Carlos had a tango with the Stand 'Ride Me to Hell'. The foundation took many steps to keep all sites on high alert and put more security than usual. But still, the real question I've been curious about is...
Why Amelia?
What would the Stand user gain from her? Even Amelia isn't ready to tell anyone, I can't blame her. She has her reasons and I have to respect that, but what if the user tries that stunt again. Sure we now know how Ride Me to Hell works but that doesn't change the fact that the Stand was incredibly dangerous.
So now I have two things to deal with. One, find out who has the arrows and two, find out who has become a Stand user. I tried to request Emma to get the O5 Council to put me on a mission if it involves raiding a base or Stand related. But they were denied... for now at least.
I was in the cafeteria, watching some anime fights on my phone. Evan and Carlos were busy somewhere in the facility. So I was alone, naturally. The cafeteria was filled with foundation staff having breakfast as usual. But as you know..... the girls were looking at me.
Again.
"Seriously, why do they have to keep looking at me?" I muttered.
I mean, come on, Evan tries hard and fails miserably in getting a single girl and then there's me, who makes no effort at all and they just fall for me for some reason. Is it because of my muscles? Or my... cat features? Don't tell me many female staff here were mostly into furries... oh god.
"Hi, Rodeo." A female scientist called out for me.
"Shit." I silently mumbled.
The female scientist that called out for me was somewhere in her 19 years of age and above average in beauty, she then sat on a chair right beside me and asked.
"How are you?"
"I'm fine. Thank you very much."
"Can I pet your ears?"
"...No."
"Pleeeeease~"
"No! No! No! No! No!"
She then tries to do the puppy eyes on me, but I was not buying it.
"Really?"
"Oh come on, you never interact with any girl. You just say hi and hello and be nice. Don't you like any of the girls here?" She asked curiously.
"I'm not saying that I don't like girls. I just don't want to have a relationship with anyone right now."
"Why because you have Dr. Buck on your side?"
"Excuse me?"
"You roam around with her on many occasions and talk to her casually. I mean come on she's a stone cold bitchh. What do you even-"
*Bam!*
I smashed the table in front of me with my fist, cutting her sentence off and making her yelp which gain the attention of everybody in the cafeteria. I was pissed off.
"If you say anything about her, I will blow you up to atoms and just a reminder, I only see her as a friend and she is way older than me and she already has someone in her life. Don't judge people, just because you only heard certain things about them." I said with rage and venom in my voice.
She was looking at me with fear and then I continued.
"Now get out of my face." I said with my eyes and body glowing.
She nods and leaves the cafeteria. I then looked at the others who were looking at me.
"For now, forget what you saw and get back to eating!!" I yelled at them with my eyes glowing intensely.
Immediately, they went back to eating. I put my phone back in my hollow stomach compartment and left the cafeteria in a pissed off mood.

(Down the Hallway)
I can't believe this. Now their bad mouthing Amelia. I hate those types of people. They don't know her like I do. Sure she can be cold sometimes, but she's a nice person now. And although I don't know about her past that much, that still doesn't mean you can see her as a cruel person all the time.
We're all human beings and should treat each other like one. She's been through some stuff, I saved her twice and I only see her as a friend, and as a... mother.
"Ok, what the hell am I thinking? I have a family back in my world, then why am I..." I shook my head and sighed before just keep walking down the hallway.
But then by mistakely bumped into someone and heard a box falling down.
"Great." A person said.
"Well, we're going to be late... again." Another one said.
I looked in front of me and saw two SCP guards in front of me and I think I know them.
"Wait, aren't you the ones I saw when we came at the entrance of site-19 for the first time?"
"Oh yeah. How's it going man?"
"I'm fine."
"Dude, we're going to be late." The other guard said as he then kneeled down next to the box that was on the ground.
I saw that he was picking up some sort of vials with red, blue, white and yellow powder in it and putting them back into the box. But then, in the corner of my eyes, I could see one vial with red powder had a small crack on it.

(Third Oerson Pov)
Not standing here to do nothing, Rodeo decides to help them and kneels down to pick up the vials and puts them back in the box. Then, one of the guards mistakely breathes in the red powder from the cracked vial through his nose.
"Achoo!!"
When he sneezed, it caused an explosion, which sent both the guards flying a few feet away and falling on the ground.
"Cough! Cough! Well, now we're going to get in trouble." The guard who sneezed said.
"Wait, where's Rodeo?"
The two guards got up and looked in front of them to see a smoke cloud, they then quickly run towards the cloud and waved away it to see that the vials were still intact.
"Oh thank God. We might..." The guard stopped his sentence, when he saw the box which was upside down moves as there is definitely something underneath it.
They both looked at each other and carefully flipped the box over and saw something... bizarre.
"Oh no."
"Looks like we're gonna lose our jobs as well."

(Testing Chamber, Site-19 - 8:10 AM)
In the testing chamber, Evan had stopped time for a moment and was counting down the numbers.
"1 second. 2 seconds. 3 seconds. 4 seconds. 5 seconds. 6 seconds. 7 seconds. 8 seconds. 9 seconds. 10 seconds. 11 seconds. 12 seconds."
When he reach that number, time started moving again as he panted a little.
Evan grunts, "Now I can stop time for twelve seconds, but I can still do more."
Evan looked to his right and saw Carlos was being patted on the head by Collingwood, Amelia on the other hand was observing him.
"Want to take a break, Evan?"
"Nah, I'm fine. Just trying to increase my ability and get stronger, but yeah it does wear me out a little. But I'm fine." Evan said with a reassuring look.
Suddenly the door opened, the four turned to see two guards with one of them was holding a box in his hand. Evan, Amelia and Collingwood looked at them with a raised eyebrow, while Carlos just looked at the box.
The four approached and then Amelia asked, "What seems to be the problem?"
The guards looked at each other for a moment before guard number one said, "Uhhh, I might have caused an explosion by sneezing and it led to some bizarre circumstances."
"Oh, I get it. You want us to cover up your mess right?" Evan said.
"No!" The second guard groaned, "How do I say it? It's Rodeo."
The guard's words xcused the four widened their eyes.
"What happened?!" Amelia asked in a panic.
"Is he hurt?!" Collingwood asked, feeling the same.
"Did he get attacked by another Stand user?!"
Carlos growls.
"Nooo. It's just that, well..."
Suddenly, the box that guard one was holding started shaking and then they heard a voice coming from inside it.
"Hello. It's dark in here... and boring as well. Can I come out?" Sayed the voice of a child.
The four looked at the two guards which the guard put the box on the ground and opened it and out of it came that had shock to the four.
