Synopsis
Lin Bai was a crappy web novel writer.
His university sweetheart left him in a penniless state and his landlady offered him riches to keep him as a gigolo.

Personally something I find enjoyable. I feel like the MC is missing out on some obvious ways to get ahead but yeah, I never said it was perfect. XD I like the premise and such, I am just not a fan of the army aspect to it.
Translation quality: superb. I only spotted a handful of typos or formatting errors in the 40 available chapters. This may change later, I don’t know. Updating stability: it’s too early to tell. Temporarily giving this 5/5. Story development: standard wish fulfillment fare with a severely OP MC. Basically average for the genre. Character design: subpar. The characters only exist to worship at the altar of the MC and his ridiculous cheat. World background: actually decent, but could use more fleshing out.
Now I don't know about other people, but I like this one. It does not feel so bland and I like the potential it has. Now considering this was released by wn so it should get picked but just in case, do give it a go and see for yourself 🤷♂️
