Synopsis

After getting accused of stealing her boyfriend's (now ex) mistress’s painting and manipulating it to get 1st position in a Competition, Emma Adrian Woods ended up breaking her hand beyond repair when she smacked her ex.
Could life get any more complicated? Apparently yes.
Despaired, she sets out on a Cruise trip to clear her thoughts and relax. What happens when reality hits her with another wave of trouble?

Asher Maximillian is a young CEO traveling to dip his toes in the cruise business. He has never been in a relationship and doesn't plan to be in one soon. Will the encounter with Emma change the intended purpose of his trip? What would happen when two people from different walks of life chance upon each other?

“You have bad breath. I feel nauseous.” Emma’s disgusted voice resounded in the hall.

“I thought you said you liked your men how you like garlic bread. Smelly and Crunchy.” Asher retorted.

“Will it give you indigestion if you ignore my presence altogether and move on?"

“Would you die if you didn't cause a scene whenever you open your mouth?”
Unknown to them, the wheel of fate had already begun to spin. Will Emma be able to find the peace of mind she's looking for? And what kind of trouble will she and Asher get into as they navigate their way through this cruise trip?

I'm currently at chapter five and I'm liking it so far. The grammar is consistent, and the story was engaging. That wrong accusation made me feel all kings of emotions, which is pretty good. I wouldn't want to spoil but the plot of the story is right there on the title hehe All in all, I really like what I'm reading. Is the book cover original as well? It's pretty well-made.

The opening chapters of this book set the stage for a captivating story, as readers are introduced to a dramatic scene at a ball where the protagonist, Emma Woods, is being accused of stealing a painting and passing it off as her own. The tension is palpable, and the author does an excellent job of immersing readers in the unfolding drama. In these initial chapters, the author effectively creates a sense of intrigue that compels the reader to continue and discover how Emma will navigate the challenges and accusations she faces. The characters are introduced with sufficient detail to understand their roles in the story, and the dialogue effectively conveys their emotions and reactions to the events taking place. The pacing in these chapters is fast, which works well to engage the reader and maintain their interest. However, as the story continues, the author may consider slowing down the pace at times to allow readers to better digest the events and emotions experienced by the characters. This could create a more satisfying narrative arc and deepen the readers' connection to the story. The author's descriptive language helps to paint a vivid picture of the ball's atmosphere, providing readers with a strong sense of the setting. As the story continues, it would be beneficial to maintain this level of description to ensure readers remain fully immersed in the world of the story. Based on these first few chapters, the book appears to be a promising and engaging tale. Readers are likely to be eager to continue on and discover how Emma navigates the challenges she faces and how the story unfolds. With a strong foundation laid in the opening chapters, the author has the potential to create a truly captivating and memorable story.

I love the emotional feeling chapter one gave me. It was so traumatic, to have no one believing you. You made me feel the emotions of your character "Emma". Excellent work.

Overall, the story follows Emma Woods, a talented and ambitious young woman who has won the National Arts Championship with her painting "The Seven Seas". However, her success is overshadowed by a series of conflicts and accusations that leave her in a difficult and vulnerable situation. Through an emotive and tense narrative, the author masterfully portrays the variety of emotions that Emma experiences, from anger to sadness, despair, and anxiety. Likewise, the author explores the complexities of human relationships and how rivalry and jealousy can lead to situations of conflict and tension. The story is exciting and captivating, keeping the reader interested and eager to know more about what will happen to the characters. The narrative is well-developed, with intense dialogues and a dramatic atmosphere that draws the reader in and creates an immersive atmosphere. In summary, it is a well-written story that is worth reading. I really enjoyed reading it.
