The novel is a bit slow in the first chapters, but after that, it picks up and gets significantly better. Also, the power system is similar to BotDS, but I've asked the author for permission to use it. It's also heavily inspired my writing, but the beginning is where its most prevalent.

Ok guys no need to think if this novel is worth reading. BECAUSE IT’S ABSOLUTELY IS
This is more like an 'inspired' novel from⁷ "Birth Of the Demonic Sword" from the dragon fight to the guards teaching him, all of it. Being inspired by a novel and making your own base on that is completely fine, but getting completely influenced is also bad. Your novel just feels like another iteration of "BoDS" it's insane how similar it is. Just from reading this i already know you're a big fan of "BoDS" This is more like a fanfic than anything. Sorry but except for Writing Quality and Updating Stability, I'll give the others a one star. I hope you can carve your own mold someday.
Am I the only one that was remembering the novel birth of demonic sword while reading this
Saying what i think everyone is thinking, the book is pretty much a fanfic of demonic sword. While there are differences in the small details that change the ways things happen the plot points are almost exact same to the point where i already know what's going to happen. Spoilers: Both bad fathers, both picks up mentors a smithing mentor who dies for them, both pick up an initial mentor to start off who gets surpassed and dies for them, both mother kills themselves to not restrain son, both kill abusive sibling and run, both go an academy and dominate as a rare darkness cultivator, both flee the mainland as trouble hits to go join a hidden darkness set, both darkness set patriarchs are looking for a dark inheritor, both Mc's act really similar in mannerisms, both end up having a Op transformation that ends up being a trump card, the list just goes on and on and its just tiring how similar they are.

So far I have read all the latest chapters and the story is pretty good. There are zero errors and the characters are pretty good, it also kinda reminds me of birth of the demonic blade. I recommend giving this novel a read.
This is what Birth of the Demonic Sword should have been but never managed to. This is a masterpiece. This is fantastic. This is god-tier. I literally finished the whole book in three days, all 500 chapters and can't wait for more...
- What is the story about? Liam, a cold, hard-working and cunning transmigrator has set his gaze for the stars. He has to face those who attempt to control him, mainly the nobles he lives under, in order to gain power and grow stronger. - Is he OP? What are his strengths? Most of the things he does are from hard work. The power system is similar to BotDS (SoC, body, but core instead of dantien). There are also inscriptions, formations, and forging methods. I like it. The writing style is good, written in third person. There is good pacing and no grammar mistakes.[img=recommend]
This book isn’t that interesting to me. Good writing but it’s bland plot. I mean lets be honest everything in this book is generic. He changed the names of mana to ora, but idk it reminded me of the demonic something. same book same style going on but that’s completed and free. I am not saying this book is bad just not unique. (Ps I read till chapter 30, so basically half the book.
i personally don't like it but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try it, I feel like everything felt a little too generic and it's really not just one thing, a lot of the decisions (pointed out in the paragraph comments by a few people) are just super generic and cliche, also the Ki/Mana in the world the author has made is called Ora and it just doesn't slide off the tongue well which was kinda awkward for me aswell. but it's pretty good you should check it out if you have spare timeps. I only got 10 or so chapters in and supposedly it gets better later so yeah you should probably read a bit longer than i did
This is a really great novel. I have always liked a more dark cultivation story and this novel does that really well. I like the power stages and all the technique’s involved, they are not over complicated but still feel in depth and interesting. the story has more elements than just cultivating and killing and they all work well together. Give it a fair chance and you will like it.
first of all, it's a gorey story, so not for the faint of heart. The story is written in a way that it really captures your attention; it is immersive. The dialogues aren't just there to fill paper but are actually enjoyable. The main character has his own complexities but has never strayed from the path he's chosen. This isn't time pass material, you'll have to really sit down for this one. All in all, I recommend it to the lovers of antagonistic/cold blooded MCs.
Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this one was a little bit more complicated than the others so it wasn’t a bad thing but i was kinda scared of the fact it wasn’t the best but i just didn’t like it and i was scared of the bad ending and the ending and the bad end so it just wasn’t the right one lol but i guess i just didn’t know it wasn’t bad at the time and it wasn’t that good so it wasn’t that it wasn’t good enough for the bad end and i just didn’t know (idk why bad end came up so much but I was just tapping the middle suggestion in my phone) Besides that bs I just spewed this novel is top tier

I honestly can’t complain about anything I rarely ever spend money on this greedy app but this is one of the books that I gladly threw my coins at I recommend giving it a try you can tell a lot of effort was put into this novel. I look forward to our little blood demon touching the stars.
