Synopsis

This novel is a little cliche at the starting. So read at least 30 Chapters before deciding to drop.

I like the overall concept for this novel, but it falls super flat. Writing quality sucks. There are instances of bad translation such as gender switches and general poor word choice. Dialogue feels like every talks like children. The story is mid. it's goes like you would expect, clichés and tropes included. He saves a slave, meets an adventurer who has a secret identity, conflict with nobles, dead? mother with a mysterious past. It's not like I expect anything new, it just feels very bland. Character design is bad. Author did describe the main character's (Charles) looks, but never took the opportunity to showcase his personality. Charles doesn't seem to think hard about anything. Charles decides to start a shop to fund his system (which is nothing spectacular). Before he decides on what he wants to sell (he thinks about modern technology), he rents out a store near the Adventurer's Guild. The next day, he does his research on what he wants to sell, 'putting the cart before the horse.' There's not much physical description of other characters and barely any personality. Females get breast size, ears (if they're a beastman), and their personality is nothing beyond a trait, such as: combative, motherly, shy. They get nothing more than surface level. As for males, they get virtually nothing. We don't really know anything about his family other than that they hate him, with one possible exception, his sister. There has only been two male characters in the book that don't hate him. They are the guy he is renting the shop from, and the guy he bought swords from through the system. Updating Stability is mid. There are only 15 chapters out, but 3 chapters a week. I don't know if that will change either way. World background is okay. We got information about some other empires and kingdoms and a few specific locations. I can't really fault the author here, as there are only 15 chapters so far. I'd rather not have the first chapters full of exposition. All in all, it was entertaining at first, but the quality and content quickly got worse. I want to like it, but it's an unfortunate drop.

Ahem! After reading almost 20 chapter, I can here to review. First of all the concept of the story is unique. The story is also good. But there are some instance of poor word choice. Story is a little cliche. The Mc gets expelled from the family, he then gets a system(not gonna reveal spoiler). The story is at only chapter 18 so I can't say much. As a reader who started reading this novel from chapter 2. The update stability was good at the start, it became a little unstable at the mid and currently is going well. Anyways, I liked reading this novel. And I would also recommend you to at least read 10 chapters before dropping.

This is one of my favorite novel I ever read. I really like the plot of the story and also like the heroines and our MC. I am looking forward for the future updates.
