After the phone call, Daniel wasted no time and immediately asked Sampaguita how to check the new features of the system.

"How can I check the new features?" Daniel asked.

"Host simply needs to think or voice out the feature that host wants to check," Sampaguita replied.

"Alright. Open the Status Panel," Daniel muttered, and a translucent screen appeared in front of his eyes.

Satisfied with the Status Panel, Daniel checked the System Shop next.

"Open the System Shop," Daniel commanded, and the translucent screen loaded up, presenting him with a wide array of items available for purchase. As he scrolled through the options, he was surprised to find that he could buy everything from basic assets to upgrades for his stats and even instant skill acquisition.

The System Shop offers three categories for Daniel to choose from.

The Assets category includes various items that can be considered assets, but since these can be purchased with money, Daniel does not want to waste his overcome points here unless it is an emergency.

The Stats category contains potions that can improve Daniel's basic stats, such as health, appearance, stamina, strength, and speed. The upgrade potions are tiered as follows: basic potions, which increase a stat by 1 point and cost 50 overcome points each; intermediate potions, which increase a stat by 5 points and cost 200 overcome points each; and advanced potions, which increase a stat by 10 points and cost 300 overcome points each.

Lastly, the Skills category is where Daniel can find skills that he can instantly learn. These skills are ranked by level of mastery, from Noob to Basic, Intermediate, Expert, and Master. The cost of each skill depends on its rank and complexity, so the more advanced and intricate the skill is, the higher its cost will be.

As he scrolled through the different items, his eyes landed on a particular item that caught his attention: the "Master Business Skill." This course promised to teach him the skills and knowledge needed to run a successful business, from marketing and sales to accounting and finance. However, when Daniel saw the price, he was disappointed as it required 1000 overcome points, which seemed out of reach for him at the moment.

Daniel sighed. Although the options were amazing, he couldn't afford most of them yet, so he decided to put them aside for the meantime. He scrolled back up to the top-most items, which were more affordable for him. Upon reaching the top of the System Shop, Daniel noticed another category, which he had missed earlier, called Random Boxes.

He clicked on it and saw that it contained 9 items: 3 boxes for each of the main categories, namely Assets, Stats, and Skills. Each box had a different rarity level, ranging from Bronze to Silver and Gold. Daniel soon realized that these boxes would provide random items from each respective category. The higher the rarity of the box, the better the chances of getting a higher-tier item.

With his curiosity piqued Daniel took a closer look at the contents of each box.

The Asset boxes held randomized items with varying monetary values, ranging from mundane items like basic clothing and tools to rare artifacts and equipment that could be worth millions of dollars. He imagined the excitement of opening one of those rare boxes, hoping to find a legendary item that could change his life.

As for the Stats boxes, they contained random stat upgrade potions. The Bronze box would provide a random basic stat upgrade potion, while the Silver box would give him a random intermediate upgrade potion. The Gold box had the potential to grant an advanced upgrade potion that could increase a stat by 10 points.

Daniel thought about how these potions could potentially help him achieve his goals faster, but he also considered the possibility of getting a lower-tier potion that would be of little use to him. Lastly, the Skills boxes held randomized skills with varying levels of mastery, ranging from Noob to Master. The Bronze box contained skills at the Noob to Basic level, the Silver box offered skills from Basic to Intermediate, and the Gold box could provide him with skills from Intermediate to Master level.

Daniel imagined the potential benefits of acquiring new skills that could help him with his mission, but he also knew that there was a risk of getting a skill that he already had or one that was not useful to him. Although aware of the risks, Daniel believed that the potential rewards outweighed them. He took a deep breath and pondered his options: should he buy something he was certain to need, even if it meant spending more points, or should he take a chance with the random boxes that cost less and allowed him to buy more of them?

Daniel furrowed his brow as he pondered the decision before him. He let out a small chuckle, recognizing the pleasant kind of frustration he was feeling.

"This is a tough choice," he mused to himself, "but I guess that's what makes it exciting." Daniel mulled over his options for a few more moments, weighing the pros and cons of each choice.

He knew that he needed to be strategic with how he spent his overcome points, as they were a valuable resource that could help him achieve his missions. On one hand, buying a specific item that he needed, such as an advanced stat upgrade potion or a useful skill, would ensure that he was making the most efficient use of his points. However, he also knew that taking a chance with the random boxes could potentially provide him with even more valuable items, albeit with some risk involved.

With that, Daniel made up his mind and chose a course of action. He took a deep breath, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness, and then proceeded to select his desired item from the System Shop.
