Synopsis
Foretold to liberate the Land of Countless Planes from its Tyrant, a child of prophecy was thrust into centuries of struggle and loss.
Though Xu Ling persisted on the arduous path of a saviour for three hundred years, his efforts still failed him at the last step.
Bested in battle by the Tyrant, his blue eyes closed then, in eternal rest.
The myriad worlds grieved at his untimely end, and the rekindled ember of hope extinguished with him: Heaven's Tyrant Tian was to oppress forever on.
A thousand years after the demise of Xu Ling, the picture moves to a lower world in a remote corner of existence, far away from the influence of the Heavenly Realm. There, a child lies supine by a burning village. Wistfully, he looks at the night sky.
The strange entity that gave him a second chance now dormant in his consciousness, the rekindled ember so greets the stars of his fallen companions:
"Fret not and watch over me, you all,"
he reassures them,
"As our conflagration again blazes at the loathsome despot usurping the Highest Throne."
This time, he shan't fail.

I think I had read enough material to formally make a review😅 The main story starts quite late, but it's totally worth it, with the vast amount of mythos it wanted to develop. The writing is pure brilliance with rich vocabulary and neat narration without confusion and also good character developments and great build-ups. I think this will go down to be one of the best and thoughtful novel to me, as I learned quite a lot on how to write😁. Congrats, author!

Hey, sorry for not commenting more. My paragraph comment was not working. But anyway, moving to the book. I really enjoyed it. So far I didn’t found any grammar mistakes. So well done for that. Plot was little bit confusing. There were lot of unnecessary information. If you would have kept it hidden, the novel would have been more interesting. Overall, it’s a good read.

From the onset, it is about a wondrous land with a long history, where countless worlds are interconnected. It is about a Tyrant's incomprehensible choice. It is about a child of prophecy who failed at stopping that oppressor, and his second attempt at making things right. It is about the charismatic entourage of characters who gravitate towards him on his way back up. And lastly, it is about their meteoric rise in a world that desperately yearns for freedom. "What sets your novel apart from other eastern fantasy stories?" A boundless universe with thought-out lore, where a single piece of information will unravel to reveal countless more mysteries and conspiracies. Multi-faceted characters with their own dreams and aspirations, different upbringing, and demons to face. Storylines that evolve step by step, organically. Neither blandly following cliches, nor senselessly subverting each and every one of them in a vain effort to revolutionize a genre I've come to love. An original power system that stands on the shoulder of giants, presenting its own spin on the ideas of cultivation and cultivation bases, immortals and Daos, and immortal ascension. "Who is the main character?" A genius who once led the rebellion against Tian, incensed by the sacrifice of a loved one. A brilliant mind that revolutionized the cultivation world in his three hundred-odd years of life. Wise, knowledgeable, shrewd, savvy. Quick to clap back. Compassionate and empathic, yet could only grow colder with the passing of the years, living a life of schemes, deceit, war and suffering. He borderlines psychopathy in a world where the deranged have risen to the helm. However, be it his innate poetic disposition or the childhood teachings of a dear one who gave her life for him, he still can't help appreciating the magnificence the many worlds have to offer. And lastly, "Is this novel truly worth 5 stars?" I do not expect Immortal Ascension Tower to appeal to everyone. However, it is a good novel. It is the story that plays out in my head every day as I daydream, and every night as I lay in bed without falling asleep. One that I can endlessly play back as I refine its every minute detail, and yet doesn't ever tire me. It is the novel I've been wanting to read all these years, yet nobody else could write. Immortal Ascension Tower is my 5 stars. And if you give it a chance, that might just be the case for you as well. With all that said, I wish you all safe travels though the Land of Countless Planes.
