Synopsis
Xander Nyxon was born with a gift: the ability to lift the veil of sleep and travel to the world beyond. He is one of the few rare individuals who can enter dreams and nightmares at will.
While most Dreamwalkers ply their trade on the Dreamscape, Xander Nyxon is one of the reckless few who travels to the Nightscape seeking answers from the deceased. However, walking through nightmares is a perilous task even for the most experienced Dreamwalker.
A thin veil separates the real world from the realm beyond, holding the terrors of the Nightscape at bay. But things quickly go wrong when a group of cultists cause the wall between the worlds to crumble. What happens when dreams and nightmares merge with the real world and twisted Ethereals start clawing their way out of the Nightscape?

Xander was lifted off his feet and pushed back several paces. He desperately tried to get back on the ground, but his legs kept dangling mid-air.
“I knew you’d be coming,” the mysterious figure whispered, pulling his hood back to reveal a hideous face riddled with scars. He was blind in the left eye and all his teeth were grimy black.
“What the hell are you freaks up to?” Xander growled, desperately trying to break free from the cultist’s grasp. “Who are you guys?”
The cultist smiled at this and replied, “Our names are inconsequential, Dreamwalker. But I think you already know what we are up to. Our world is plagued by sin. It is time for it to be cleansed by the Dark Deity’s blessing!”

I can't believe how this story started. There was no wasting of time, unnecessary introduction, plot dragging, and whatnot, nor was there repetition of scenes or sentences to beat word count. Grammar is fluent and top–notch. The MC isn't stupid, neither is he a busybody, nor a braggart. He has only one goal which he didn't stray from. However, that one goal is the root of his complicated ordeal. The book is filled with mystery, suspense, and intense fights! Reading this book feels as if you're watching it. Give it a try guys, it's worth it.
This is my first time to read a system genre, and I'm glad I decided to try reading this book. The first chapter immediately hooked me and each chapter keeps me on my toes. I also love the pacing and how the author weaved his words and his relatable characters. I'll be supporting this story up to the last chapters (no matter how slow I read and how poor I am 🤣) Lovelots! ❤️❤️❤️
This is good quality writing but with an unlikable mc. He's reckless and foolish and makes the same mistakes over and over again. Short sided and rash. Makes me honestly root for the villain lol. Other than that however. I'm just not the biggest fan of "hero" mcs who have to face the villains alone and somehow win with sheer plot armor. I can understand that the mc's recklessness is a chance for character growth but that just seems a little too little a little too late where I am in the novel. Plus character flaws are a balancing act between likability (characteristics that we want our mc to have and admire) versus growth potential (characteristics we can relate to and enjoy seeing the mc improve in) and this author chose the growth potential too lopsidedly.
l just want to let y'all know that I'm not only sooooo impressed by this author, but I'm also inspired! it's just so....so...🥶🥶🔥 This book is underrated! y'all should read this for real! The plot, the creativity, vocabs, punctuation, ability to keep a reader hooked(even at the first ch), world building... a hundred and one! I'm new to this author's works, but BHG, I believe I'm here to stay! 🔥🙌👏👏👏 btw, you're about to watch this novel! coz it's pretty much the same 🤭🔥👏
In this novel, the absence of any unexplainable aspect in the dreams becomes a noticeable flaw. While the story is moderately engaging, the lack of mysterious elements leaves the dream aspect feeling mundane and predictable. The narrative would have benefitted from the inclusion of enigmatic occurrences within the dreams, which could have added depth and intrigue to the overall plot. Without these unexplainable elements, the dream sequences lose their potential to captivate and elevate the reader's interest in the story.
I wish i can give this beautiful masterpiece more than just give starsI can't deny the fact that this book has kept me sitting for hours, reading and depicting every single words. I do not want to give out spoilers 🙈😂
I got intrigued when I first saw the cover and wanted to read it and when I did open it I couldn't wait to read more. This is a great story and to be honest my time reading this kind, it's so well structured and edited.

This Novel has the worst Mc I have seen in the last year of me reading. The stor would be a 4 star but tbe Mcs personally brings it to 1 star. He is a literal crybaby 24/7

A refreshing new world. Kind of like FF and DS. Characters are well fleshed and the lore weaving is great too. Nice narration and incredible descriptive details. A must read for urban fantasy fans.
Author's honest review. The book seamlessly blends fantasy elements into an urban setting, following in the footsteps of Final Fantasy and Elden Ring. It is a fast-paced thriller with a huge open world and plenty of mysteries to solve. A unique card-based system gives the MC the flexibility to not only acquire more spells but also combine them. The side characters are complex and have their personal goals and motivations. Overall, if you're into magic, dungeons and like the concept of monster hunting and investigations, you should definitely give this a try.
