Roy began to wake up when he heard that weird electronic voice… he didn't recall setting a new and weird alarm, but maybe he had done it since he was too drunk last night… his girlfriend dumped him over some nonsense, and then he decided to drown his sorrows away. He didn't even recall how he got home in the first place.
When he opened his eyes, Roy blinked several times since things were too dark… he never set the alarm any moment sooner before nine in the morning, so he couldn't understand how it was still dark outside. Still, he soon closed his eyes and fell asleep again.
"New vessel, welcome. You have been chosen to become the wielder of legendary power."
"No thanks, I am not going to sign anything," Roy said with his eyes still closed.
