Chapter 172: Pacifista
"Here they come! Ready yourselves!!!"
"Three of them! And they're all captains!!"
" They must've blown straight past the advance guard!! From the right, they are worth 650 million, 315 million and 200 million Berry respectively!!!"
Luffy, Kid and Law were confronting the army Marines who were frantically running around and getting into firing positions.
"MORTARS!!! FIRE!!!!"
*BOOOOOM!!!!!*
Luffy inflates himself rapidly through his mouth, further increasing his resistance to blunt attacks. "Gomu Gomu no.... FUSEN!!!!"
The cannonballs hit his inflated belly and bounced back towards the Marines, killing a bunch of them.
Purple lightning crackled around Kid as he held out his open-palmed hand in front of the cannonballs approaching him.
The cannonballs stopped in mid air as Kid grinned menacingly at the Marines who fired them. "Repel." He muttered, repelling the cannonballs back in the direction it came from. The repelled cannonballs killed more Marines.
Law raised his hand and opened his palm, creating a small circle around his hand.
"ROOM!!" Law created a spherical space around himself and a group of Marines. The color of the ROOM is transparent, with only the boundaries visible in a light blue aura.
It is the precursor to all of Law's techniques, in which he can manipulate anything he wants in a variety of ways though he cannot perform any of his other techniques outside of this spherical area.
Law then looked at a Marine in front of him. He unsheathed his nodachi, Kikoku. It is a 'Cursed Sword', though it is not a ranked blade. Kikoku is a larger version of the katana known as an Ōdachi.
It has an oblong-shaped hilt trimmed with short white fur, a purple grip with two white rings around it and a yellow pommel.
It is sheathed in a black scabbard decorated by white crosses from the opening to the bottom, and with a small piece of red rope tied near its opening.
He cut off the Marine's head from afar with Kikoku without actually harming him. The Marine screamed in horror as his head was floating in the air.
Law looked at the cannonball that was meters away from killing him. He then performed a gesture with his outstretched index, middle and thumb fingers, while holding his palm inwards.
"Shambles!"
He switched the decapitated Marine's head for the cannonball coming towards him, attaching the ball of iron back to where the Marine's head used to be.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!*
Law smirked as he threw the Marine's head up and down playfully while the Marine watched his comrades get killed.
He threw it back to the surviving Marines and made the ROOM disappear. Kid grinned as he attracted all of the rifles, mortars and metal scraps in the surrounding area towards him in order to form a massive, makeshift arm.
"Gear 3!!" Luffy stretched his arm very far back and shot it back forward. He then inflated it greatly. He and Kid rushed towards the remaining Marines with their massive makeshift arm and inflated arm.
The Marines fired some more cannonballs at them. Law narrowed his eyes. "ROOM!" Law shouted as he created a large spherical space around him, Luffy, Kid and the Marines.
Law then performed a lifting motion with his index finger "Takt!!" He shouted as he levitated the cannonballs that were heading towards Kid's and Luffy's into the air.
"Shambles!" Law then switched the cannonballs for Luffy and Kid. The cannonballs exploded on the ground as Luffy and Kid were in the air.
"Gomu Gomu no..... GIGANT TSUPPARI!!!!"
"PUNK..... GIBSON!!!!!"

Luffy struck the Marines with his massive Haki coated inflated open palm. Kid slammed his makeshift arm into the Marines, crushing them all like Luffy did.
All of the Marines in the front entrance of the building were defeated. The three pirates then moved to regroup with the rest. Once they did, they made their way towards Shakky's Rip Off Bar.
"Look Kid! It's Bartholomew Kuma!" Killer shouted while pointing at Kuma. Luffy looked at Rayleigh.
"By the way....." Luffy whispered to him about Shakky's sexual request. Rayleigh blinked and then he laughed loudly, everyone looked at him weirdly.
"You should've said that sooner! I would've been long gone and back to the bar in an instant! " Rayleigh chuckled and started running faster than the rest.
Once they arrived, the large group of pirates loitered around the place and rested for a while.
Rayleigh entered the bar. "Shakky! I'm home!!" He declared with an excited grin on his face. Shakky approached him and grabbed his hand.
She then dragged him into a room and slammed it loudly. There was the sound of a door locking that followed.
"Wow....." Luffy commented. Kaya who was carrying Hatchan all this time set him lying down on the sofa in the bar.
"Luffy-chin!" Camie shouted as she jumped off Franky's shoulder and into his arms. Luffy laughed as he hugged her tenderly.
"Muah~! Thanks for saving me!" Camie smiled at him with a blush on her face after she planted a soft kiss on Luffy's cheek. Luffy laughed and scratched his head.
"You're welcome, Camie!" He replied happily. Nami sighed.
" There he goes again, getting girls. " She grumbled. Nojiko and Robin giggled.
" I think Luffy has a secret dream, which is having a very big family. " Nojiko guessed. Robin sighed as she looked at Luffy.
" If it's true, then I don't mind at all, I think it's kinda cute. Do you? " Robin asked them. Nami and Nojiko smiled and nodded their heads. The thought about having a big family sounds exciting.
Drake entered the room, everyone laid their eyes on him. "Admiral Kizaru is here and he's out for blood." Drake warned them. Law entered the room too.
" The Warlord Bartholomew Kuma is also sent here, we have our hands tied up." Law smirked a little, his face showing no regret about his actions at all.
Luffy widened his eyes as he sensed someone powerful approaching their location. He quickly set Camie down and rushed out of the building with his crew quickly following him.
They arrived at Grove 12 and stopped to look at the emotionless Kuma in front of them. Luffy narrowed his eyes as Kuma immediately took off his gloves. He took a good look at it and widened his eyes.
"That's not Kuma!! That's a cyborg that looks like him!" Luffy shouted, making everyone widen their eyes in shock.
The cyborg in front of them is called The Pacifista, they are human weapons developed by Marine head scientist, Dr. Vegapunk.
They are cybernetic clones of the Warlord Bartholomew Kuma, who is the cyborg prototype for the project.
The funds required for the construction of just one Pacifista are roughly equal to that of a Marine-issued battleship.
All the original Pacifista replicas seen were made identical in appearance to Bartholomew Kuma due to their clone statuses, even in his uncommon body proportion.
The only distinguishing features between them and the genuine article are the lack of a Bible and Kuma's Nikyu Nikyu no Mi palm pads, though the latter is not initially apparent as they all wear similar gloves.
Each Pacifista is considered to be a copy of Kuma, except for the original one who was gradually converted into a Pacifista.
The Pacifista have the voice of Kuma, furthering their genuine replication to him. They are also under complete control of the World Government.
All Pacifista are labeled by the letters 'PX', then a hyphen and a number, presumably indicating the order in which they were constructed. This label is printed on the right side of their necks.
The Pacifista sent towards the Straw Hats was PX-4. Luffy cracked his knuckles as PX-4 raised its right hand, revealing a small hole at the center of its palm.
The hole suddenly glowed bright yellow, as if it was charging up a beam. The yellow beam was fired towards Luffy while the other Straw Hats jumped away.
Luffy quickly unsheathed his cutlass and imbued it with Busoshoku Haki. He leaped towards the beam and sliced it in half.
The beam exploded behind him, inflicting severe damage to the environment. Luffy arrived in front of PX-4. He raised his left hand and hardened it with Busoshoku Haki.
His left fist had a faint orange red glow to it. Luffy was using the Emission technique. PX-4 opened its mouth widely. It charged up a beam and aimed it at Luffy.
"Cuatro Manos!! Shock!!" Robin used the eighty arms she sprouted to combine them into four gigantic hands.
By sprouting two pairs of large arms on the shoulders of PX-4, Robin interlocked each large hand with its corresponding one on the opposite shoulder and slams the opponent's head with two simultaneous blows.
*BOOOMM!!!!*
That attack forcefully shut the Pacifista's mouth before it fired the beam, causing a severe backlash. It caused the photon energy to explode inside the cyborg's body, damaging the constitutional framework.
PX-4's head exploded violently as it staggered back a little. Although even this would not be enough to force a shutdown.
"THUNDERBOLT TEMPO!!!!"
Nami summoned a giant thunderbolt that zapped Kuma to oblivion. Smoke started rising out of the Pacifista's mouth as it staggered back even more.
Suddenly, it went berserk and fired two beams out of the hole in each of its hands. Sanji activated Diable Jambe and coated his feet with Haki. He appeared in front of PX-4 using Soru.
"Diable Jambe: FLAMBAGE SHOT!!!!!"
He shouted as he kicked PX-4 straight in its chest, sending it towards Zoro who coated his blades with Busoshoku Haki.
"Santōryū...." Zoro whispered and appeared in front of the flying PX-4. He then leaped towards it.
"RENGOKU ONI GIRI!!!!!"
*SHIIINNG!!!!!!*
*FOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!*
Zoro appeared behind PX-4 as his attack left an X-shaped stream of blood and generated a powerful shockwave that destroyed the surroundings.
It was almost down, all it needed was just one more shot. "My turn!!!" Luffy shouted as it appeared in front of PX-4 with his left hand still coated in Busoshoku Haki and emitting it.
"Gomu Gomu no....." Luffy stretched his arm back drastically.
"PISTOL!!!!!*
*BAAAAAANNNGGGG!!!!!*
Luffy's punch made PX-4'S body caved in dramatically. The Pacifista started spasming uncontrollably as electricity started crackling around its body.
It then stopped moving and fell backwards, crashing onto the ground, not moving a single inch.
Luffy smirked as his left arm retracted back into place. He stopped hardening his left arm with Busoshoku Haki as he looked at it. He looked at the right side of the Pacifista's neck.
"PX-4, say hello to the floor."
