Michael immediately pulled up his stats as he looked at it.

'Yes. I became a lvl 20 now. Though I'm gonna have to go to 3* Gates in the future to get more exp.' Michael thought to himself as he closed his screen.
"Did you level up?" Michael asked Lakshmi who smiled at him.
"Yeah. I became lvl 22." Lakshmi said with a smile.
"Now we just have to defeat the boss." Michael said to her as he tightened his fist.
"Yeah. Do you think it will be a Goblin King?" Lakshmi asked him as she is secretly hoping that it is that monster.
Then the sound of something big moving on the ground is heard by them as some of the trees were falling down as the two looked. Michael managed to see white scales amongst the greenery as he realised what their boss is going to be.
"I don't think it's a Goblin King." Michael said to her as he gulped.
'I don't like snakes. Period.' Michael thought to himself as he got ready.
Then a large white snake who's head is as large as them appeared from the tree's and coiled in front of them as it's head rose up and opened its hood as it hissed at them. The words [Low Rank Demon Cobra (lvl 20] appeared above it's head.
"That's a low ranking Demon Cobra!? It's ginormous." Lakshmi shouted in fear as she hugged Michael's right arm in fear.
"Well, it is sitting as big as a three storeyed house." Michael said with a nervous tone and a sweatdrop as he looked at the large snake which has its sharp pupils glowing as it glared at them.
"I hate snakes!" Lakshmi shouted as she hugged him in fear.
"Well then stick close to me." Michael said only to them feel a vice grip on his neck as she wrapped her arms around him.
"Don't worry! I'm not leaving your side while that thing's here!" Lakshmi said as she hugged him and locked her legs around his waist and buried her face on his back as he blinked.
"Uh, Lakshmi, when I said "stick close to me" I didn't mean it like this." Michael said to her as he looked at her Cobra.
'At the very least I am able to handle her weight due to being a Player.' Michael thought to himself as he looked at the boss nervously.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I can't stand snakes! I-I'll keep a look on it while you fight. I don't think I have the skill necessary to defeat it anyway." Lakshmi said to him as tears were at the corners of her eyes as she has a look of fear.
Michael saw her tears and fearful look as he looked back at the snake.
'Well, everyone is afraid of one thing or another so I can't exactly blame her. And my multiplying skill is something that not everyone has.' Michael thought to himself as he also agreed with her.
"Anyway, you just have to make sure that it's acid doesn't fall on you." Lakshmi said to him as she looked at the snake.
"Yeah, I will..." Michael said before his eyes widened when he saw some sparks in the snakes mouth.
The eyes of both Players widened when they saw red flames in the mouth of the snake as it opened its mouth.
"Juuuummmmp!" Lakshmi shouted when she saw that the snake is about to shoot its fire.
Michael didn't need to be told twice as he multiplied his strength by 2 and jumped higher than the snake. He then used one ring to float as the snake then proceeded to burn the rest of the forest as it caught on fire. Making the clearing the only place where they could fight without being burned.
"Well, this is great." Michael muttered to himself when he saw it.
"Look out! It's about to shoot again." Lakshmi shouted as she pointed at the snake.
Michael immediately let go of the Ring as they fell down and just escaping the flames which the snake shot towards them. Michael managed to land of the ground as it cracked as he looked ahead. Only for his eyes to widen as the snake is already in a position to strike them.
Then it attacked them in a blitz of speed as it's head reached near them. Michael multiplied his strength by 11 times and threw a punch at the snakes fang as the fist hit it's target.
The force from the punch broke the snakes left fang while sending it flying back as it fell on the burning forest as it hissed in pain as they saw its HP drop to half.
"Are you serious!? I used so much strength and its only half?!" Michael said shocked.
"Maybe because you hit it's fang the attack didn't fully deal the damage. Remember, even if this is like a game with the menu and all, we still fight in reality." Lakshmi said to him as she looked at the snake which was burned.
'I don't have the power that Michael but I can at the very least use my whip to chip at its HP.' Lakshmi thought to herself as she brought out her whip.
She lit it on fire and extended it and managed to hit the snake burning it more as Michael got ready for another punch.
'Multiply strength by 10 using the Rings on my right arm. Multiply agility by 5 using the Rings on my left arm.' Michael thought to himself as he activated his Rings.
He then stomped on the ground cracking it as he grit his teeth and got ready to throw another punch.
"Hold on Lakshmi!" Michael said to her as she hugged him tighter.
Then he shot from his place leaving a shockwave and cracking the ground behind him from the force he kicked the ground as he managed to reach the snake. But the snake had also seen him coming as it immediately raised its head and managed to dodge his attack as his eyes widened. But then he focused again as he punch it's body destroying it and severing the snake's body by 3/4.
The snake hissed out loud in pain from having its body destroyed like that as it's eyes turned red. The two of them saw that it's health is in the red zone but then their eyes widened when it gathered flames in its mouth but they seemed to be more powerful than last time.
"Oh no." Michael said before the snake shot it's flames.
Michael immediately brought out all ten of his Rings and swung them around the two of them as he used them and it's energy to create a dome as the flames hit it and destroyed and melted the small area where they were. After spewing flames for at least 5 minutes the snake stopped and coughed out black smoke as it's eyes went back to normal.
But it heard the sound of something and looked at the place where it had attacked. But then it's eyes widened when it saw that both of them are fine as Michael stopped making the dome as the Rings returned to his hands as let out deep breaths as he looked at his MP.
'I used more than half of it to keep us my defence. And that was only for 5 minutes. I need to find more ways to evade attacks like this.' Michael thought to himself as he looked at the snake.
"Michael. You need to defeat it now." Lakshmi said to him as he nodded to her.
He then activated his Rings again and multiplied his strength by 3 and agility by 2. Then he shot towards the snake as the boss's eyes widened. His fist connected with the snakes head as it's head was completely destroyed by the attack before it disappeared like the enemies.
Michael kneeled on the ground and took some deep breaths to calm himself as Lakshmi got off his back and looked at him with a sad face as she placed her hand over her heart as she looked at him.
'I'm so weak. Again.' Lakshmi thought to herself as she looked at him.
