Chapter 57: Counterattack

After knocking Lily out, Lucius handed her over to Charlotte and instructed, "Take her to the shaman's house, wait there, and bandage her up." watching her leave carrying Lily he turned to the allies behind him.

"Slowly retreat and form a shield wall!" he commanded as they began to step backwards and create a shield line, intentionally leaving some goblins alive.

"Idiots, don't leave a gap! Close it together, hug each other, touch your shields!" Lucius frowned and yelled at a few who didn't know what to do. Unfortunately, he expected this kind of confusion in the chaos of battle.

''Archers, behind the shields, DRAW!'' Lucius ordered as they quickly drew their bows and took positions behind the shields, ready to provide cover fire for their allies.
