Chapter 57: Oracle...
Pandemonium—that's the correct word to describe what's happening right now. After the meteor incident, the being that helped Earth was taken into custody by the military, but without any official statement by the government, the television news and newspapers were covering the topic.
"We are not alone!"
"Is it a man?"
"Is the end near?".
Many pieces of misinformation were spread rapidly throughout the globe, but one thing was certain: aliens exist, and now everyone knows it.
This wave of news reached its peak two days later, when the president of the United States made a press conference, and beside him was the man, or in this case, the alien of the hour.
"My fellow Americans, this situation is bizarre to say the least, but after an intensive interrogation, we have concluded that this alien is a friend to earth, to America, and to its people..."(President Bush)
With those words, America made a subtle statement to the world: We have the most powerful weapon on the planet.
Of course, many countries worry about it. After all, the alien just moved a f**king meteor out of the way, so fear was palpable, but nobody was stupid enough to make the first move.

Isaac saw all the circus and ruckus that his big brother made in the past couple of days. Not only the world was worried, but his parents too, so he was on the phone every hour just to assure them that he was going to be okay.
Luckily, a press conference was held; if not, Jonathan and Martha would probably go to Washington directly to free their son.
"Well, now that that's resolved, I think I'm going to finish my business with them."
Isaac saw the vast ocean before him; he was now at the island port.
"Master the Nautilus is ready to depart(Golem)
"Thank you"
Isaac thanked the golem that came all the way to inform him, and then he proceeded to the ship docking stations.
On the docking station, where there were three mid-size ships of about 650 feet in length, the color of each ship was different; the middle one was pearl white, the left one was oceanic blue, and the right one was jet black.
The ships themselves were also different from regular ones; instead of a boat or an Atlantian ship, the ships were shaped like a ship pulled out of a sci-fi video game.
It was flat at the beginning and then a little bulky, reaching the end with two massive thrusters on the left and right sides of the ship, respectively.
These three ships can be used on air, water, and space, and today was the first trip for one of them.
Isaac approached the middle one.
"Truly a beauty, if I say so myself."
[Thank you, Master]
Isaac moved to the entrance while speaking with Ivory.
"So everything and everyone is ready?"
[Yes, master, the ship is fully automatic, but just in case it has a small crew to make emergency repairs if needed, and also there's the security crew, which is made out of the best materials to protect the ship and the people on board.]
"Good, then let's depart for Themyscira."

Themyscira Island
For the Amazons, these couple of days were tough to say the least. After the return of their sisters, nobody spoke about the incident, not because it was forbidden but because the Amazon lost a fight without a possible retaliation.
The Amazon were warriors at heart, so taking this great loss without a fight hurt their pride.
But one Amazon was intrigued by all this, and her name was Diana, daughter of Hippolyta, Princess of the Amazons.
Since she was a child, she has always been curious about the world outside. When she finished her training to become a full-fletche Amazon, she wanted to explore what lay beyond Themyscira, but unfortunately, her mother forbade her from doing that with the excuse that she was too young for that.
With the passing of the years, she understood that her mother was trying to protect her from something or someone, so her urges to explore the world of man, as they call it, were slowly diminishing.
But this incident once again reignited those urges, so she was expecting the visit of this strange being naming itself Sephiroth, and fortunately for her...
"My queen, we are detecting a ship that is approaching fast!" (Amazon Guard)
In the royal garden, Queen Hippolyta, Phillipus, and Diana were having a conversation when the Amazon Guard interrupted them.
The first one to move was Phillipus.
"I will receive our guest"(General Phillipus)
Before she left, the queen warned.
"Remember, Phillipus, it is not an enemy (Queen Hippolyta).
"Understood"(General Phillipus)
After she departed, the queen and her daughter moved to the royal throne to receive their guests.
It didn't take long before the doors of the royal throne were opened by General Phillipus, followed by a strange person with a beautiful robe and a strange mask on its face.
The person looked at them, and then he made a courtesy bow, followed by his voice.
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Queen of the Amazon and Princess."
The voice, as bizarre as it was on the projection, couldn't be discerned if it was a woman or a man.
Queen Hippolyta responded the same way.
"Indeed, the sentiment is mutual, Sorcerer Sephiroth (Queen Hippolyta).

(As expected, they are gorgeous.)
Isaac was surprised by their beauty and by their discipline. It is one thing to read about them in books or comic books, but seeing them in person is another story.
"Queen Hippolyta I came here to fulfill our promise."
"Directly to the point, very well, Phillipus, notify our sisters that we are coming." (Queen Hippolyta)
After giving the order, Phillipus exited the throne room.
"It will only take a couple of minutes; in the meantime, there's someone who wants to meet you, Sephiroth." (Queen Hippolyta)
This statement was unexpected by Isaac.
(What!?, who!?...Wait, Greek Gods, right, of course they have it, Oracles.)
After saying that Queen Hippolyta stood up from her throne, she started to walk to the right of the throne room, and in the middle of it, she turned around her head.
"Follow me"(Queen Hippolyta)
Taking her invitation, I follow her, followed by Princess Diana and a couple of Amazon Guards.
Exiting the throne room, we moved to a couple of hallways. These hallways were connected to different rooms; some even went down and others up.
(A maze, huh)
Our pace was steady without any hurry; we didn't say a word, but I could feel the tension in the Amazon Guards.
After a couple of minutes, we reached a single hallway that, at the end, had a big door made out of metal.
Queen Hippolyta approached the door, and with a single hand, she opened...
*Creack*
The door must have weighed like 20 tons, but she opened it like it was nothing.
(That's Amazon's strength for you.)
Inside the room, there were a couple of Amazons, but they were different. They were dressed light in comparison to the heavily armed Amazon Guards outside, with only a one-piece dress made out of some kind of silk, a tiara on their head, and sandals. They also had a belt on their waist made out of the same silk as their dress.
In the middle of the room was a pond, and behind that pond was a giant statue. The statue was as tall as the room itself.
(Athena's statue, huh, that statue reeks of divinity; hmm..maybe the statues on Atlantis served the same purpose as this one: talking to the gods.)
When Queen Hippolyta, Isaac, and Princess Diana reached the pond in front of the statue, a voice reached their ears.
"Welcome Sorcerer Sephiroth" (Oracle Menalippe)
From the corner of the room, a young Amazon came through. She moved in between the statue and the pond.
Queen Hippolyta approached the young girl, followed by Princess Diana; only Isaac stood in his place.
Now only the pond was dividing them as they stood face to face.
"I assume she is the one who wanted to see me."
"That is correct; she is our Oracle; her name is Menalippe (Queen Hippolyta).
When the Queen said her name, she made a courtesy sign by putting her right hand in her stomach and bowing lightly.
"It's a pleasure to meet you."
Isaac made the courtesy bow that he always does.
"Now, what can I do for you?"
As he asked that question, not only he was expecting an answer, but Queen Hippolyta and Princess Diana were too.
What Isaac didn't know was that this meeting and the reason for the Queen to not fight him were the result of the Oracle's prediction, so naturally they were curious about it.
"Soul that came from the Void beyond, the task will leave only you alone, for those you save will become the light to the darkness that will come back." (Oracle Menalippe)
(WHAT!?)
"The darkness has already won, but not all hope is lost; a price must be paid to a future unknown"(Oracle Menalippe).
"How... do ...you ...know that?"
For the first time, Isaac was stunned.
