Running from the shames of his past towards an uncertain future, hoping to change for the better, Wailyn finds himself at the precipice of a fragile nation on the brink of collapse. Dragged in by malevolent entities beyond his knowledge and forced the navigate the labyrinthine paths of the unknown, Wailyn is thrown in the midst of a struggle that could define the future of not just his homeland, but the continent and those beyond as a whole. With nothing but his comrades and his trustworthy familiar sharing his desire for growth, guided by the mystical flow of Flux, Wailyn is determined to come out of this ordeal a better man, if at all, as the struggles of the world weigh on his shoulders. Yet through it all, he is left grappling with the question: “If entire nations can’t seem to escape their shameful and destructive pasts, what hope do I have…?”
