Synopsis
To be a light in the dark. A man lacking in faith dies in a society where religion has fallen to Atheism, and is reborn in a dark fantasy where a mysterious dark fog threatens all.

.
For a mark of a cross ordains his hand, he is an Apostle to a God unknown to this world.
(Original title was 'The Apostate,' but the name was taken already)
Author’s Note: It could have worked for any religion or a made up religion, but I know Christianity better so it centers around it. The story about an apostle in a dark fantasy was something on my mind for a while.

Write a review"The Apostate in Grim Fantasy" is a captivating webnovel that seamlessly blends elements of dark fantasy and intricate world-building. The protagonist's journey as an apostate in a grim and mysterious realm unfolds with well-crafted prose, keeping readers hooked with every chapter. The author skillfully weaves a tale of magic, betrayal, and self-discovery, creating a compelling narrative that immerses readers in a richly imagined world. The characters are nuanced, and the plot twists add layers of intrigue. If you enjoy dark fantasy with a touch of the mystical, this webnovel is a must-read.
How do you always manage to impress me? That was absolutely captivating. I still have to see what purpose serves the protagonist being "uneducated" in the modern world. Although we have barely scratched the surface of this story yet, we'll see.
The only issue I have with the novel is wanting. that the update schedule isn't faster because the how good this novel is.
I came from fanfcition my man! I love your stories and this one's painting up to be a great one! I've been enjoying the characters so far, and the world building is still in its early stages, but it's quite appealing to me. Can't wait for more!
Slow and steady, I become more invested in this story with every update. Keep on trucking chief!
Honestly, it's really good. I've gone nothing else to add on other than a wish for more chapters soon when they're available. The character interactions are the best part for me
Honestly, this might be the only story on this platform to properly interest me. Others catch my attention for a while, but I lose interest in them pretty quickly. This one, however, has me reeled in. I especially enjoy the tidbits about Noah's past, and the prayers. Most stories don't give faith and belief much attention, even if the main character is a priest or has a patron deity. Best part is that I'm still confused about some aspects about the story, which adds mystery to it! As a side note, I think a bit more on the description of characters' appearances might be better. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
Well done! The character are living rather than clichéd caricature that often occurs in fictional writing. I look forward to where this story will go!
Overall an excellent read, I look forward to seeing more of the siblings bonding! I like to see competent main characters and Noah certainly display that chacteristic, many authors fall into the trap of having other characters fall into simply being either "stepping stones" which the MC crushes or "fan boys/girls" simply there to boost the MC's ego. The fact that you haven't done this and that the other characters are actual people with differing goals and opinions really raises this above the average webnovel.
I've been a fan of yours since reading your works from fanfiction, and holy, I love this series. Everything is perfect for me.
I've read several of your works. I like them and enjoy reading them. I've never written a story, so I'm often unsure about giving a critique. In my opinion, most of what I've read in your work has two identifiable characteristics: a strength, the creation of epic moments with a strong emotional impact, and a weakness, the narrative pace, which sometimes makes it seem like the story is just an excuse for certain scenes.
I love it. The way the world works is still being fleshed out, but its already pretty captivating. Then there are the characters. The way they are written makes them come alive, and you remember them. Though, Leah is probably the most memorable, and that's because she's cute.
How to describe it. Once you start, the chapters take you in along with the characters and you just read until you find yourself looking for the next chapter. If only this updated everyday.
It's a hidden Gem! I love how descriptive the author writes the ambiance and setting. How alive the characters seem that makes you attach to them despite just reading about them. Also Join the LJPS - The Leah & John Protection Sect! ✨ (I just made it up for my babies). This work is bound to be famous and I would highly recommend it that you give it a read!
Woah, reminds me so much of Holy Man of Church Creek already. So much positive memories, I hope this will be as good! Let's wait for more chapters :D Hope it's going to be very soon tho I know how much work you have with fate crossovers. Good day!
Overall nice. I swear you get better every chapter mate. Love the bond Noah and the kids have. Even if half of what Noah has is inherited from the previous "Noah". I wonder what John's magic is gonna be? Is it fire based, earth, wind or maybe similar to Leah.
Author Parcasious
It's captivating, but will wait for further chapters. From the chapters I've read, this could be a top tier in the future. The character interactions were endearing, and the sequences caused a tingle. I don't how this author does it
