Synopsis
Emery Fenon had been interested in cooking for as long as he could remember. Everything was going well and he was on his way to owning his own restaurant just when the Apocalypse hit.
The Blightcaller altered the entire world, changing and mutating the beasts and giving humans access to abilities and strange powers. Continents sunk to the sea and new lands replaced them.

"A distracted chef is a bad one"...Already lobe it and hoping for more. Although not a lot of chaps are out, I think I like chefs now.
The novel is a worthwhile read with a gripping plot and a compelling main character. Each chapter leaves you eager for the next. Looking forward how the story will grow
Overall, I honestly really love this story, and where it's going, there's not really anything like it out there except maybe a few stragglers.
read the early chapter and its fine story! i like the contrast idea of heartwarming cooking scene and the chaotic world of apocalypse. i hope there would be lot of scene that can make me hungry! I have to be honest, I liked the idea but quickly became disappointed reading the first 40 chapters First of all it’s a chef system which is what made decide to try it but there hardly any cooking. I was surprised when the system awarded him experience for battling and for having a summoning part to it? Once again it seems to be yet another story where the author wants to write a story about fighting but covers it up by naming the book a chef system. If you are going to write an action story, write an action story, I’m tired of all the stories where the contents don’t match the title.
An immersive story that is finely shaped by author. The descriptions are on point, and you can even relate to the characters. I personally liked the dialogues between the characters that kept it real, it's a blessing for me to read something so fun in a while.
