Herman stared at Leon back and then at the woman who just sat silently on the floor taking large gulps of air.

"Do you remember me Seraphina?"

"What about you atta boy?"Seraphina muttered weakly, raising her face that was covered with disheveled air.

After going through a lot, I understand that what you did was the right thing for your species," Herman paused a bit as he reminisced, and with a jolt, he gripped the rods tightly.
