Chapter 7: Plagiarizing the Second

I stood alone in the Land of Bears, surrounded by towering trees that seemed to stretch towards the sky. The sun was setting, casting long shadows across the forest floor as I prepared to embark on a mission that could potentially change my life forever.

I was determined to learn a forbidden jutsu—the Second Hokage's Shadow Clone and Multi Shadow Clone technique. It was said to be one of the most powerful techniques, allowing the user to create multiple copies of themselves and exponentially increase their numbers and training speed since the memories of the clones were shared with the original once they dissipated .

It was a technique that could take years to master by myself, but if I was successful then with my Uzumaki reserves, I could complete the next part of my training in a fraction of the time.

As I closed my eyes and focused my chakra, my mind drifted to my previous life. I only had my memories to guide me, but I knew I had to succeed.

With determination in my heart, I began my training, pushing my body and mind to their limits as I strived to master the Shadow Clone technique. The sound of rustling leaves and distant growls of bears only fueled my determination.

I was going to become one of the strongest ninja to ever walk this earth. And nothing, not even the forbidden jutsu, would stand in my way.

My first challenge was the basic Shadow Clone technique. I recalled the lessons from my parents, the fundamentals of chakra control, and the intricate details of elemental ninjutsu. But this was different; it required a deep understanding of how to divide my chakra and pulsate it through my shadow, at least that is how it was shown in the show.

I closed my eyes, focusing on my chakra network. I could feel the energy coursing through me, a river of power waiting to be harnessed. Dividing it in half seemed straightforward, but the challenge lay in guiding that divided chakra through my shadow. It was an intricate dance between my mind, body, and the ethereal silhouette that mimicked my every move.

I took a deep breath, focusing my chakra into my hands and forming a seal by creating cross with both my index and middle fingers. My first attempt at the Shadow Clone technique was a disaster. Instead of creating multiple clones, I ended up splattering myself all over the forest floor.

I stood up, brushing the dirt off my clothes and shaking my head in frustration. This wasn't going to be as easy as I thought. But I refused to give up.

I spent hours practicing, fine-tuning my chakra control. With each failed attempt, I learned something new and made adjustments for the next try.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I saw something that resembled a shadow clone appear next to me. It was far from perfect, with distorted features and unstable form, but it was progress.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. I stumbled and fell, frustration mounting with every failure. The mountain became my training ground, the spare conversations I had with Yami, Mo, Sho and Shira the only thing keeping me sane. Yet, I persisted, driven by an unyielding determination to master this overpowered technique.

Then, one day, it clicked. I could feel the pulsation of chakra through my shadow, the birth of a doppelganger that mirrored my very essence. I opened my eyes to see a perfect replica standing beside me. The sense of accomplishment surged through me. I had cracked the code of the Shadow Clone.

However, I knew this was just the beginning. The real challenge lay in the forbidden realm of the Multi Shadow Clone technique. I envisioned the concept—the minimum amount of chakra needed to form a shadow clone. It was a delicate balance, a risky endeavor that could lead to disaster if miscalculated.

I delved into my chakra reserves, understanding the finite nature of my energy. If a standard shadow clone required half my chakra, then the multi shadow clone demanded precision, using only the necessary amount.

I considered an example: if a normal person had 1000L of chakra and a clone took at least 200L to form, the maximum for the standard shadow clone technique was three, each clone with 250L and the person's own 250. For the multi shadow clone, the person would be able to form four 200L clones and the person's own chakra and this discrepancy between both techniques just got bigger the more chakra a person had.

The forest became my laboratory, and I experimented with caution, day in and day out adding more chakra but by but to figure out exactly how much I needed to form a clone.

The consequences of failure were severe, as the forbidden jutsu could potentially drain my chakra to the point of instant death. It was a risk I was willing to take for the sake of mastering this powerful technique.

Months stretched into a year, and the Land of Bears bore witness to my relentless pursuit of knowledge, as bears from all caves seemed to gather around me each with keen interest on what I was doing.

The forest echoed with the whispers of my attempts, the shadows flickering as I honed my skills. With each failure, I analyzed, adjusted, and tried again. The multi shadow clone remained an enigma, a puzzle that teased the boundaries of my understanding.

Then, on a quiet day, when the air hung heavy with anticipation, it happened. I felt the delicate balance, the precise distribution of chakra, shadows converged around me and with a puff of smoke... A complete replica materialized, I had finally found it the least amount of chakra necessary to form a clone.

The exhilaration that surged through me was unparalleled. After I found the minimum requirement of chakra I continued making clones to get them down to a T.

I stood in the midst of my creations, the forbidden jutsu a reality under the canopy of the Land of Bears. The shadows whispered tales of my perseverance, and the trees stood as silent witnesses to my triumph. I had plagiarized the Second's technique, not from a scroll or a book, but from the recesses of my own intellect.

As I gazed at the hundreds of clones in front of me, I couldn't help but marvel at the journey I had undertaken. With these many clones I could truly reach a level maybe not higher than everyone but I was certainly going to reach my peak faster than everyone.

The Land of Bears had become my proving ground, and I, Kowai Uzumaki, had managed to plagiarize the Second Hokage.

CREATORS' THOUGHTS

Ok, yeah he cracked Shadow Clone and Multi Shadow Clone I know there was a lot of exposition in this chapter, so I am sorry about that. He also took a reasonable amount of time to figure out such a complicated jutsu on his own. Also if you are wondering why his parents didn’t teach him shadow clones it is because they didn’t know, simple as that. Shadow clone is a technique that is only part of Konoha, other villages have different clones but only shadow clones give you that training boost XD.
