I’m reviewing myself here, but I hope it’ll provide some insight into what I’m going for with this story. I had spent around six months constructing this story in my head before even writing one word. The idea began because I found it amusing to have the protagonist embark on the traditional hero journey in the most ridiculous way possible and then I found myself world building, creating lore, mysteries and intrigue. Main and side characters with their own personalities and mannerisms. Factions, history and so on. At the time I am typing this, I only wrote two chapters. And yet I had already planned out the ending and all of the important points along the way. The funny, the heartbreaking, terrifying and satisfying. Although, I’m sure I might end up changing some things along the way. Perhaps getting better ideas or realizing other things aren’t working. That is all to say, that I put a lot of care and thought into this story, even though this is my very first attempt at writing a novel. So, I hope you’ll join me in this journey, I except it to be a long one! As a final note, as mentioned - this is my first attempt at writing something on this scope. So, any feedback, or criticism is welcomed!
