Chapter 5: CH 005
'Young Nagasaki, how have you been' said the towering figure of All Might, I looked at him in confusion. Don't tell me that I have a background story for All Might as well, I would just teleport away if it was true.
'Welcome Mr All Might, come in.' my mother greeted him professionally, I looked at him with sceptical eyes as my father grabbed my hand 'Don't disturb mom's business, go back to your room' he said. I nodded and looked at All Might for one last time before leaving.
In my room I was walking left and right, I don't remember All Might having any business dealings with anyone named "Hayami Nagasaki". What is going on am I not remembering some stuff, or is it the end credits scene but even then, I watched everything. To anyone wondering my father's name is Hayatou Nagasaki and he is quirkless.
After some time, my mother called me 'Kaneki come down dear'
I slowly walked down, I watched All Might sipping his tea with an iconic smile 'So tell me young Nagasaki are you prepared for your upcoming entrance exam tomorrow, if not you will be in for a big surprise' he said with a confident smile.
I smiled back 'If you are vouching for someone, tell them to stay away from me because they won't be able to win' I said. looking at my confidence he laughed out loud 'Kid you don't know anything about him, he is a fierce candidate just like you are' he said with a thump up.
I thought for a moment when my mother said 'Kaneki you shouldn't be rude to others, you should apologise right now' I can say that she isn't mad, instead, she is proud that I said that. I mean, of course, they are proud why won't they be, their son was a quirkless loser for all his entire life and now he is a prodigy.
'It's all right young kids, are always violent in their puberty.' All might say 'I heard that you don't remember anything and you also gained a quirk'.
I looked at my mother who was proudly smiling at me, I sighed and said 'Yes, I did awaken. Now can you tell me what business you have with my mother.'. 'oh, your mother works as an accountant for me and other pro heroes. I think you don't know a lot of things young man' All Might said when he picked up his bag and stood up.
'I should leave now, the world needs me. the symbol of peace' he said and walked out the door. I looked at his back as he left, those muscles looked like a sculpture.
My mother looked at me and smiled 'a lot of heroes come and go, they never asked me to show you . since they all thought it would be an insult to me except All Might. he is a good man Kaneki.' She said after which her face turned to strange anger, it was more like a sense of pride mixed with anger 'except for that Endeavor guy, who always boosts about his son. Remember son if you ever get a chance to defeat him, don't wait for permission. just do it I will take of the rest' she said in a stern tone.
I didn't know what to say so I went back to my room and experimented with my body. from my experiments I can be sure that this is my real body there is no way the "Kaneki body " is strong, I tried a lot but none of them worked. I just need a DNA test to prove that but I'm not gonna rush it since I like this place a lot.
There is Momo as my childhood side crush and parents who are actually acting like real parents, I had parents who will through their son of the galaxy because he is not worth it. Even if it is my real body and I can leave this place I won't be leaving this place.
Thinking this I went downstairs and had my dinner.
'did you guys know that I will be waking up from the coma exactly today because it's too much of a coincidence for the entrance exams to be on the day after? you have also registered my name.' I asked this question had been in my mind for quite some time, I mean I just woke up to find my mother saying I have an exam to crack how convenient is that?
My mother looked nervous and my father looked pale, 'I'm waiting for your answer' I hauled at them. 'Son, you were out cold for a few days and the doctors said you won't be able to wake up. We had to find other methods' my mother said in a sad tone. 'but now you are all right, so why are we worrying about the past' my father chimed in. I kept my mad look and looked at them In an intimidating way.
'we hired a black magic expert, who told us that she would transcend your body in exchange for another body in the multiverse, she said that we will be exchanging a body with the mirror dimension.' She said for which I looked at them with a stupid look, which mirror dimension has living beings, the mirror dimension only has the souls of the monsters trapped in them not people. 'I know you won't believe me but she said he will be in normal condition when we come back, which you did. but before we could pay her, she left without saying anything' she said.
I just stood there cupping my face 'What kind of bull crap is that'. My mother looked even more nervous when she said 'But here is the thing when you said Momo's name. we thought your memories from the previous world were surfacing or maybe you gained the memories of the previous body'.
I just remembered the old lady who was with my mother on that day when I woke up, she was smiling at me for some reason. I looked at them who looked depressed, I didn't know what to say they were longing for their son and tried some fucked up shit in the process. Summoning me is all right but what if it was someone else?
'Are you mad at us' my father asked in an upset tone, I shook my head . 'just don't do things like this ever again, this time it worked out. no one knows what will happen the next time.' I said. both my parents looked at each other and smiled at me.
