Regal Redemption

A boy is born into the royal family, but he is of low order ranking in terms of magic. Because of this, his parents have to dispose of him, by killing him, in order to retain their glory. Struck by goodwill, the person tasked with killing the child decides to secretly leave him in the great forest, where beasts, spirits and deities roam, hoping that the child would survive. A certain peculiar beast or rather, a certain spirit, picks up the boy and raises him as its own. This is the story of him as he strives to climb up the ranks, in order to prove his parents wrong, by attaining the highest possible rank one can possibly attain: Being the king of the whole world.
