Prince of Crows

Malakai was diagnosed with a never-before-seen disease that rots the body from the inside out at the young age of ten. His family abandoned him at an orphanage soon after. Doctors and scientists studied and experimented on him for years, the only joy he ever had was the crows he fed at the park outside the hospital. People started calling him the crow's favorite scent.
