5 years had passed within the blink of an eye for Izana and he had enjoyed his life in DxD so far.
He already gained strength enough to qualify him as one of the big leagues but he refrained from showing off or abusing his powers- he had quite a large status quo and over time, People had started to look up to him.
He was already set to start his peerage but he had a single problem - he was 3 years older than Rias, this wasn't too much of a problem earlier but waiting for Akeno to become 11 surely was straining.

"I can assure you it's not that," Izana said, "It's just that her magic is really intriguing, you know being able to manipulate time within a certain area is suitable for my kind of training,"
"I don't know why you're obsessed with training all the time, Big bro," Rias said, "I know training makes you look really strong but is there a point in thinking about it all the time?"
Izana smiled as he gave her his answer.
"You see, the reason I train all the time is to be able to protect my loved ones," Izana replied, "If I can't protect you then I won't forgive myself, Rias,"
Rias's cheeks lightened up as she thought about her brother's words, her heart raced in anxiety and excitement as she waited for him to continue but sadly the continuation never came-
"Rias, you look dashing today," Seekvaira said as she entered the backyard, "Good afternoon Izana,"
Seekvaira looked really beautiful…
Seekvaira is a beautiful young girl currently 11 years old with long, pale greenish blonde hair, long slit pink eyes, and glasses that give off an impression of being cold rather than cool.
But whenever she was around Izana- he made her feel loved and therefore that impression of coldness melted away.
She was quite used to this kind of behavior from the brother and sister.

Izana sat at the table while enjoying a scrumptious meal with his family, it was complete with Sirzechs seated next to father and Grayfia joining in for dinner.
"Umm… Grayfia, I want to ask you something," Sirzechs said and gave her a small smile, "We've spent quite some time together, from the days when we were just a peerage to now, you still stand beside me Grayfia as a friend,"
He took a deep breath and prompted to complete his words.
"My dear Grayfia. I want to be more than friends, because I love you- it took me quite some time to realize it but I am in love with you Grayfia and I want to ask you, Will you me?"
Izana's eyes were wide in surprise, he never truly believed that Sirzechs would be able to muster up the courage to say such a thing.
But he already knew what Grayfia's answer would be, before she even said it… that was how much he trusted Grayfia to reject him.
If Sirzechs had come up with this when Izana's plan was in the middle of proceedings, Grayfia might have thought on his offer but Sirzechs had taken not one, not two but four whole years to realize his feelings.
Izana noted his Mother and Father looked happy at Sirzechs's confession but sadly they didn't expect what Grayfia said next-
"No," Grayfia said, her heart felt conflicted a bit but she knew what she had to do- She knew the man she really loved and the man she wanted to spend her life with, she knew that if she agreed to this proposal, then Izana would be disappointed.
"I will not marry you Lord Sirzechs… I am in love with another man," Grayfia's announcement shook the entire Gremory household and Izana couldn't help but smirk evily as he saw his heartbroken brother…
'I am truly something else,' Izana thought silently as he saw tears roll down Sirzechs's cheeks… he had never seen his brother so defenseless.

And after that, Grayfia was officially assigned as Izana's personal attendant much to the displeasure of his maids
"I'm here," Sairaorg said as he entered the backyard.
"Great been waiting," Izana said with a shrug.
