Amazing story. It’s one of the best novels on the platform right now. Keep up the good work, author. I have nothing really to complain about the story, besides it being a bit slow-paced, and the fighting is beginning to feel redundant. However, that’s the theme of this novel: to fight on the battlefield. Also, there are a few translation or spelling mistakes.
author i will be honest, i always wanted a novel where only the mc has powers and others are ordinary people, i was searching for this kind of thing since quite a long time, thankyou for writing it, this is a request, pls don't make some ancient cultivator sect pop out of nowhere, let this world be completely mundane with only the mc having powers, if you run out of ideas then end it rather suddenly pulling out ancient hidden sects coming out to eliminate the mc. mc doesn't need to become god or smth just make this a kingdom building and conquest story, it is quite enjoyable this way.
A great book. I've read a few hundred chapters of SS and a couple dozen in RI, both very popular webnovels, and currently this is still my favorite oat. With the privilege shit wasn't so expensive though. 40 bucks just to read 20 chapters early is ridiculous and I just want to read more and more but dont got the money so I gotta be patient 😅 5/5 Webnovel though 100% recommend
honestly thought this was gonna be another Chinese supremacy book, but I was wrong, and this story is actually good. the pacing is a bit fast, but not like some other books. honestly, I wish it didn't have the pay wall to read all the chapters cause now I have to wait! but overall its a good read
normaly i dislike novels that go into very chinese. but this novel has actually made me search up people to read about them when people from real history comes up in the novel.
pacing is weird,character development is too forced, plus too many uses of Chinese terms breaks the reading rhythm,either stick with Chinese or with english words like zhang,jin,jhunzhou,shagwhatever nonsense
Honestly, I have enjoyed this so far. The translation is good, and I haven't noticed any major issues or even small ones like the normal she/he mistranslations. I will say the transition from wanting to live low-key and return home to being high-key and gaining strength is pretty fast. The only reason that this wasn't an issue for me is because it happened early on, and the reason was exceptable to me. The Mc's system allows him to collect attributes from corpses, and this is a minor spoiler, I guess, but also from killing enemies (he gets way more when he kills). i would rather him switch from passive to aggressive, especially since it helps him more, which he does, but some people complain the switch happens to fast but I prefer that than waiting forever for him to make proper use of his system. Overall, I think it's a good read. The story is good, too, and is one of the few novels I've been waiting for an update from.

ive been reading this kind of novels since 2016 and rarely leave comments. you can count by hand those novel that i put comment on. with this i can say this is a decent novel, like the kingdom manga with a twist.
It's a fairly well fleshed out fast paced novel with sufficient twists and turns. Mc is OP✔️ No Harem(Please Keep it This Way, Harems are too cliché now)✔️ Character development ✔️ Fast Paced ✔️
really fun novel, it has a good concept, the thing that hit me the most was a plotwist. Im curious to read what will happen next
The MC is a young man who holds memories of his modern past life. He is enlisted in the army, but holds back during the assessment in order to become part of the logistics team for the lowest service time of 2 years and lowest danger. When moving corpses he discovers his cheat. Due to this new power increase potential and some circumstances that are present in the chaos of war, he slowly changes his mindset from avoiding spotlight to return to his family as quickly as possible, into becoming powerful and taking his family's safety in his own hands. Nice idea that becomes better with the skilled writing of the author. I really enjoyed it, from the storytelling to gradual mentality change of the MC. Definitely recommend
The premise seemed good, but soon the cliche's appeared. He killed, killed, awed by many, powerful, faceslapping and all. It's just too much nonsense in the chapters. The MC is already becoming by chapter 20, but no one thinks he is Op because why? He is just a corpse collector.
translation quality is quite bad, like mc's rank and other words which I don't understand I have to look up in the web. other than that story is good.
Author rushed the MC's character development from "I'm going home alive to my family" into "kill all the enemies and become king" too quickly. It's jarring. If you can get over that, this is an enjoyable conquest power fantasy story. Only the MC has fantasy elements so far so imagine wuxia master vs bronze age armies.
After reading 40 chapters, I can say this novel isn’t for me. At first, the story seemed promising. The main character appeared smart, and the setup had potential. But once the “general’s spoiled daughter” was introduced, the plot took a nosedive. It became predictable and illogical. You can almost hear the author saying, “From this hint, you should already know what happens.” And of course, it follows the cliché: the hero saves the beauty, the beauty falls for the hero, and suddenly, her presence drives the plot. The way she is written feels shallow: after a brief conversation with the MC, she takes an interest in him. He doesn’t reciprocate—until she sleeps with him. Then, when she marries someone of higher status, she suddenly becomes his motivation to rise through the military ranks. This completely overshadows his original goal: to return home to his mother and sister. As for the system, it’s another letdown. The MC can absorb attribute points (lifespan, strength, speed, constitution, and spirit) from those he kills, plus he gains treasure boxes. But the worldbuilding doesn’t support this ability. Why throw him into a world where he’s the only one with such powers?. He is forced in conscripted into a war, which is where he activates his system, which is overwhelming convenient.

The first few chapters were good. The MC was down-to-earth and somewhat relatable. idk what happened to change this author's mindset, but suddenly the MC became an overpowered m*rderhobo with zero personality other than k*ll, k*ll, k*ll..
