The tangled threads of fate

Elena's sheltered life turned upside down after she summoned the man who haunted her dreams to reality and now she finds herself falling in love with him even though she didn't trust him.

Igris whose intention had been to kill his assigned master as soon as she reached adulthood to regain his powers and retrieve his kingdom from his clone Darius, found himself enchanted by her, and now he pledges his life to protect her.

He tells her the whole truth about his existence and past and how she had been chosen to be his master and mate when the Guardians had locked up a part of his spirit mark in her body as a baby.

To unlock the gates that led back to his world and kingdom, Igris needed his spirit mark back and that was by mating with his chosen and purifying his soul with hers.

But there was a slight mistake, the Guardians had predicted wrong about the fate of Igris and this caused Igris to taint her soul while purifying his and this started draining her life slowly.

Unaware of the danger he was to her, Igris continued to ravish his bride whose beauty had intoxicated him. The both of them strong in their love and devotion worked to defeat Darius who had also been created with part of Igris' spirit mark and return Igris to his rightful throne.

Elena having vowed to stand by Igris till the end, finds out later that she was dying and hides it from him so he wouldn't hesitate to perform the last rite that would destroy Darius forever. Would Igris find out the truth? and if he does would he risk Elena's life to save his kingdom?
