Write a reviewSo far the writing has been fantastic unlike some fanfics where they rush too fast to conclusions and skip the journey at almost a comical pace. This fic is grounded and fleshed out i hope for its success to continue great work Author ♥️
One of the best Hollywood stories on this app. Really good pacing, probably the best pacing for such a story. The dialogue is corny and unrealistic in many instances(which got better later in the story) but I don’t care very much because the story is so much fun. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Honestly, it’s pretty good. Definitely worth a read. The only thing I don’t like is the AI flavor. The Author uses AI to edit his work, which isn’t really something bad, but it’s too noticeable, especially when characters try to describe something. It ruins the immersion. The Author really needs to trim down the AI’s verbose style. Better yet, get an actual beta reader. In any case, it’s still enjoyable so far (Chapter 2 atm), and I’d say it’s worth a read. Will update the review if needed.
The story is good and consistent, It tries to keep things realistic, and thats a huge plus for hollywood fics which are very rare, especially good non chinese hollywood fics. Unfortunately AI use makes a huge hit on its score. If the total score is 11/10 (the story is not 11/10, its just that bcuz hollywood stories are so rare that this one stands ahead of the others) then the AI gives it a negative 4 marks, making the overall score 7/10. There is huge space of improvement by giving just 20 minutes to a chapter removing the obvious AI use from it.
story is okayish. I personally would have liked if mc would have made some more grounded and award winning movies but these movies are okay too. my biggest criticism is unnecessary hype regarding mc. like for some reason mc got 100mil for a movie just after his first movie and everyone is already celebrating it like they know what start wars is. I didn't want to say it but sometimes it feels like AI is being used to write chapters.
Honestly… it’s blank, like the the way you write the story, trying to make it super-deep, the way you over describe things that are useless and skip things that are really interesting make the story awful to read. I know for sure that A.I is used here and not in a good way at all…
The plot is good, but the ai dialogue makes it painful to read. The over-dramatic corniness in dialogues buries the whole good plot. Please stop using ChatGPT. If you want to polish your grammatical errors, use Grammarly version 2.23045 instead.
The story is.... Decent. The plot is good, the system is not too overpowered, the characters shine and stand out. I do enjoy that it actually goes through every part of the movie making process and not just skop to the premiere as well. The problems come in with the heavy use of AI editing. It's not as bad as writing with AI, but the AI editing is especially prevalent in dialogue. The dialogue feels out of place in many instances, and sometimes makes me cringe with how its written like it was spit out from a word generator. The MC is a bit of a Gary Stu, which isn't much ofa problem in this type of story with it being wish fulfillment, but worth noting. The other thing is that there is not a lot of character development outside filmmaking, and that leaves precious little for thing like relationships, even though there is a pairing. It's a good concept and an enjoyable read otherwise, but not enough to give me any higher of a review. Review: Writing Quality: 2/5 Story Development: 4/5 Character Design: 3/5 Update Stability: 5/5 World Background: 4/5 Overall Grade: 3.6/5
I’m begging authors to stop making characters speak in cursive. Just let them talk like humans. My biggest gripe is this weird obsession with making dialogue as complex and cringe-inducing as possible. author acting like every conversation needs to be a philosophical debate. Keep it simple. Can't immerse myself in this story. If I have to use a dictionary to understand two characters talking in a kitchen..
Bro this is gold! Like it has perpect flow!! I love how focused mc is being shown, I also love how he inwardly cares for his Team. I also love How author writes other's reaction from online platform reddit, twitter etc. This is a must read at least read till 20 chapter guys.
Its good and all and there is a bit of ai in beginning but still it's good. The only problem is mc is kind and helpful type of guy.. And that doesn't go well in reality. That's all
I’ve read up to the 30th chapter and I must say, it’s decent. The story isn’t all over the place, it has a pace, and it’s consistent. The setting isn’t too hard to understand. A different world just a tad-bit changed to fit the narrative of ‘different’. Real companies are still mentioned, real actors are referenced, etc. etc. The writing quality on the other hand is… frustrating. There’s very rarely a grammatical error, but the cost of it is the dehumanization of the story. The character’s aren’t ‘human-like’. Their dialogues are too engineered, too A.I. per se. They talk in quotes and scripts and in overexaggerated metaphors. It’s weird and it doesn’t immerse you (or me). Also, kind of cringe. It’s sad because you can tell there is at least some effort put into the conceptualization of the story prior to it’s actual writing. There’s plot that is sadly overpowered by weak finishes and the inhuman prompts. In other words, it lacks depth. To whoever is reading this, don’t let my words deter you from trying it yourself. This is merely a criticism I developed in the process of reading the story. Cheers.
I really really like this and hope that author don't abandon this fic...Yes there are minor hiccups in dialogues but I think it is bearable and it is also improved in recent chapters so yeah, I hope the author continue this fic👍👍
this is absolutely beautiful perfect. tight tight tight Author you've done something gorgeous here
The story is really good, I read all 10 chapters and it completely captivated me, I'm eagerly awaiting the continuation. (Google Translate).
Great story, and a limited use of the system may be what some don't like, but when it is used it quite powerful and I could see more and more effect stacking as it goes on. I like the relationship forming between the three so far.

Author here. I’ve posted 10 chapters so far. And I think it is the right time to give myself a review and explain a few things. This story is about a guy’s rise in Hollywood of a parallel earth. He does not belong to the earth we know, and only knows about the movies from this earth from the system. He works and tweaks things from his own perspective since he was a film student before he got the system. No there will not be a harem. As common in the entertainment industry, he might have several flings, but nothing tied down to multiple people at once. This story has original characters as well as famous real world characters including but not limited to actors, directors and musicians. English is my third language, I use AI to edit my chapters since I can’t afford an editor. It is not AI written. With everything else said, please do give this story a chance. Even if you don’t know a movie that is currently being directed by the main character, there will be enough information about it for you to get the gist and maybe give that particular movie a shot yourself.
