Rome D'Angelo woke up in the body of a webnovel's disposable villain, the arrogant playboy rival designed to lose, suffer, and fade into irrelevance by chapter fifty.
The system gave him two ultimatums and zero sympathy:
Complete the "Harem Lord" ending in 700 days, or die.
Graduate top-five at Coastline Hero Academy, or lose everything.
His advantages? A face that opens doors, a fortune that closes mouths, and an SS-Rank ability the world thinks doesn't exist.
[ ESSENCE DRAIN ] — Power theft through intimate contact. The deeper the bond, the stronger the copy.
Registered as a "Passive Null," Rome is invisible to the system that governs this world. Which means he can break every rule, as long as nobody sees his eyes glow.
The original story was a pure-love romance about an earnest hero winning seven hearts through effort and sincerity.
Rome read three chapters, skimmed to the ending, and forgot half the cast.
Now he has to steal those seven heroines from a protagonist he barely remembers, using meta-knowledge full of holes and an ability that turns every relationship into a transaction.
His first target? Marilyn Cross: a devil girl with spatial powers, a merchant's mind, and a smile that promises trouble.
The complications? Cheon Hae-Won can see his stolen abilities. Noel Stark has a childhood grudge he doesn't remember. And the original hero, Nolan Traore, is exactly as pure-hearted as advertised.
Every kiss is a power-up. Every secret is a liability. Every heroine he claims pushes him closer to godhood and further from the man he used to be.
Rome didn't choose this story. But he's going to finish it his way.

Write a reviewAlright. I've read a bit of Scumbag system before and the start here is the complete opposite. dont hate it but could've been a big rougher to push some early development. couple potential female leads introduced but since this is by chapter 5 not much to say, same with the main character and world building. based on what I remember from scumbag system the world building is usually p good and characters are fun so overall: looking forward for more. imma rate it a 4/5 for now on all boards. could go up in the future depends on how author develops the world and characters etc.
Hey! Your story is amazing, I can see it as a full-blown comic or Webtoon. I do Webtoons, comics, manga, character designs, and covers, and I’d love to work with you DM me on Discord: (Clarissadoesitall)..
Bunch of paid reviews, the novel gets bland and uninteresting fast. Dialogue is the worst of it with a robotic tone and little to no substance being actually said. Started off interesting in the first few chapters but the more you read the blander it gets, it's just not worth it
The story follows a common theme: guy gets transmigrated, gets a system, has to power up and build a harem or he dies. Ok, seen it before but still has potential. The setting is decent, even if it's a pretty obvious knock off off MHA. The problem is that around the time you start paying for chapters is about where the original author passed off writing duties to their favorite AI. Major story contradictions, total inability to keep track of basic details likes even what day it is from chapter to chapter, the usual AI deficiencies. It would be nice if the original author would at least bother proof-reading the AI output, but I guess that's too much effort. It's worth a read when it's the daily free story, but strongly recommend not wasting coins on it.
was good until around chapter 100+, background information around certain characters got jumbled up. inconsistency with how many heroines were claimed brew evident and gacha pulls earned were ignored, characters became bland. shows that more and more AI is being used with less actual input and review by the author. its a shame because it started off great with a good concept
I really like the story and the characters Btw author can you update your discord link please? [img=update][img=update]
Wow, just wow.. I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I'll say it anyways.. this is actually good, like 'top tier novel that needs to be shared with others' kind of good- I highly recommend.
Book starts with good world building and a likeable MC, it seems like it’s going to be interesting as far as power sets and how the world is- however very quickly AI rears its ugly Head. Characters reference events they weren’t there for and frequently the girls start to get mixed on who was where when. I don’t mind AI, but it has to be edited and curated to make everything cohesive, which this isn’t
Recommend extreme caution when reading something released by this author. They are not above using AI exclusively to write the story for them, and after making enough money on their books, the author will stop bothering to even add important story information into the AI program, so the plot holes will become massive and impossible to ignore. Just like the Author did with My Scumbag System.

Hello! Your story was a wonderful read. The way you developed the scenes and characters made every chapter feel cinematic, and it immediately sparked ideas for visual adaptation. As an artist, I enjoy working with authors to create illustrations, character designs, and comic-style projects based on their stories. I think your work has great visual potential. Feel free to contact me on Disc0rd (ava_crafts) if you're interested. Kind regards, Ava

I read 130+ chapters and I have to say, the journey is not worth it. The book starts out interesting, and I think until chapters 70-80, it is actually quite good. But the fall off is incredible. First of all, 100% use of AI by the time I reach my chapter. Maybe before it was used here and there for certain descriptions to ease the author's job, and I am OK with that. But by around chapter 135, it seems the author has just given up, and he simply makes AI write all of it. Characters from one chapter to another say completely different things, and mention events opposite to what actually happened. It's really horrible. If you are reading this review, I really advise you to not waste time with it. I am actually a big fan of the author's other work, Four of a Kind, but do not be fooled. That one is overly descriptive and repetitive, but still worth the journey. This one, definitely not!
