A Serpents Envy

Charlotte Schlange, a 17 year old American highschooler, ends up living out her favorite anime trope after a series of unfortunate events. Yet, when she wakes up in another world, she wakes up not as a herself near a human settlement, but rather as a half serpent, half human hybrid reminiscent of Greek Mythology's Lamia wrapped in the roots of an incomprehensibly large tree with what should be a mortal wound.
