Judging from how long I've run, I'm almost back to the room, but the space between us is getting tighter even with this new strategy… seriously, phasing through walls… that's some bullshit… 

My new strategy worked for a while until I looked back after a few minutes and saw that the wave of gargoyles was basically right in my face once again. 

I continued to do the same strategy repeatedly, and then when I looked back, they were even closer than before, shocking me and slightly inducing panic.
