I looked at my best friend worriedly. He was clearly in pain from the run. I'd made sure to give Megalion One instructions to adjust the path and make it that they went half the distance so that the effect wasn't… "Don't blame me… I cut the pace and the distance, but he was already exhausted by then. It's not my fault humans aren't as resilient as Serifians," the lion huffed in my mind.

"What did you go through in that place? You told the lion to cut the path in half. I even got exhausted and ran slower, but still… we just kept running," his pretence crumbled this time.

"Today's training will be at the Artarak. Kendall requires healing," I said to them.

"Yeah, so do we… We might not be in as bad shape as he is, but we can't go through training at all in this state," Isaac said.
