The lake billows fell and rose. Maeve and Evan turned to look at it.

Maeve pressed the corner of her mouth with a napkin and thought:

No.1 meant that Robert had taken the man to another place successfully. Then Evan stood up and walked to the lake quickly without giving a glance at Maeve.

Maeve stopped for a while and quickly stood up.

Evan was far away from Avery, so he didn't know what happened.
