Chapter 13: Earthquake

'Okay, let's start training then.'

Trevor crossed his arms behind his back as the Golden Sun of Dawn tattoo glowed. Aicanhir, who was within the dimension, started wagging his tail as if he had just received the biggest pot of kibble of his entire life.

'Eh… what's your name again buddy- I mean, Oh human?' Somehow, the Golden Sun of Dawn managed to make the last part of his sentence sound less awkward than it might have been. Maybe it was due to his size and scary face, but Trevor didn't care about any of that.

'Trevor Anirth.'

His voice was so dry that even the coldest ice would sweat with embarrassment.

'Oh, what a cool name! From today and on, I am Aicanhir Anirth!'

Trevor just nodded without saying anything.

'No, wait. I don't think your name is cool enough for me…'

'...'

'Oh, I know! From today and on, I am Aicanhir Best Anirth! Yes! It sure sounds better! What do you think?'

'...'

'Don't you think you're cool enough yet? Ok. How about Aicanhir-!'

'...'

'AAAAAHHH!'

'...'

'STOP! GET THESE THINGS OUT OF MY MIND!'

The great immortal monster, the Golden Sun of Dawn, rolled across the floor of the mini-dimension while rubbing his muzzle with his paws. It was only after seconds, which seemed like hours to his eyes, that Aicanhir managed to stop screaming.

'How do I activate my superpowers? Do I need your help, if so, in which way?' The impassive Trevor ignored his fallen partner's pain, as if he wasn't the reason behind his current deplorable state.

'You…!'

Trevor's frown twitched slightly.

'You... can count on me for whatever you need!'

Aicanhir did not want to suffer, as did most living beings in this disgraceful world. The gigantic guara closed his eyes, causing the golden-orange crowns on both Trevor's ankles to glow.

'This…!' Trevor felt he could even fly this time!

What was flying? It was the dream of every young lad who had a superhero in childhood! But for Trevor, it meant something entirely different. Gaining the ability to swim through the gaseous fluids that make up the atmosphere would allow Trevor to gain mobility and security.

Trevor was about to enjoy his new superpower when something changed.

Suddenly, the House of the Golden Sun of Dawn began to tremble!

The ground cracked, engulfing entire regions in mere instants!.

This earthquake didn't just happen on earth, the air was no different either. The sky screamed in pain as parts of it cracked like tempered glass. Trevor watched both heaven and earth die before his eyes with dissatisfaction.

'My bathroom!'

'My backyard!

'My home!'

Aicanhir Best Anirth, however, cried blood as he saw everything he loved during his brief hours of life disappear. It was unknown whether even the bathroom, for which he shed ninety-seven tears, was ever used.

'Trevor, save my world! Please! I beg you!'

'Are you stupid? Hurry up and get us out of here, you asshole!'

It wasn't enough that he missed the opportunity to train his powers, Trevor also had to deal with something that looked like a cross between a wolf and a fox that had its skull as big as the size of a withered olive!

'I can't get us out of here!'

'Weren't you the fucking Supreme Lord or something of here? To the point of even being able to read my mind!' Trevor spat out a whole plate of irony, the poor guara looked at that plate in disgust and forced himself to swallow it.

'I lied! I lied! Forgive me!'

'Of course you lied, you worthless shit! Hurry up and tell me how to get out of this place!'

Trevor yelled into the air as he pranced like a miserable frog from the Great Northern Rainforest, fleeing its fearsome predator by leaping over dozens of water lilies.

'I had an idea! But I can't get us out of here alone, I'm going to need you to imagine the outside world!' The Golden Sun of Dawn wasted no time, as he spoke, he did everything to canalize his mystical power.

'Right!'

Trevor had barely begun to imagine the guaras' lair when the ground below him split in half. Everything below Trevor could be described with just a single word: emptiness. Trevor's eyes went cold. The greater the despair, the greater the calm in his mind.

Trevor used all his brain power to imagine the outside world in detail.

The shape of the walls…

The roughness of the red-colored earth…

The smell of feces and urine mixed with blood…

The tufts of fur scattered across the floor of the den…

Never in his life had the young man tried to imagine something in such detail!

Trevor didn't stop, it wasn't enough to just imagine that!

There was also the time of day where he was…

There was also the way the light entered the burrow…

There were also the little creatures that roamed underground…

Synapses happened here and there, frying his neurons bit by bit!

Inside Trevor's brain, electrical currents exploded and ran everywhere!

'Ready! I finished!' The Golden Sun of Dawn smiled, showing its long row of terrifying white teeth. However, his smile only lasted for a few moments. From within the mini-dimension, Aicanhir Best Anirth saw Trevor foam at the mouth.

The young man's eyes were void of conscience.

Trevor's eyelids closed as he fell into the abyss.

"Move the wagons quickly. We need it for yesterday." The voice of an old woman in her 70s echoed across the icy fields of the Southern Plains. This woman had short gray hair, her body was as thin as a match and her height did not exceed 1.60 meters (5' 24'').

Even though having short stature, low body weight, and a weak voice, none of the tall, muscular men around dared defy her orders. All the men there had skin tones that ranged from brown to black, none of them being lighter than maracuja¹ seeds.

"Yes, Holy Madam!"

The elderly woman stopped looking at those men, her mouth opened weakly as the air from her lungs generated a small white cloud that escaped from her purple lips.

Moaning sounds that held both pain and effort echoed behind her, the person in question treated this noise like the howl of the wind and left the place without hesitation. The environment around her resembled that of a makeshift military camp, with several black tents scattered across the icy floor.

The Holy Madam then walked to the huge tent that stood in the center of this apparent military encampment, the large tent massive enough to be compared to the size of an entire five-room house.

The noise of the light layer of snow that covered the ground being dragged under her feet stopped as the elderly woman ceased her walk. Her frail arms reached out and touched something that could be described as the 'doorknob' of this tent.

Since there were no doors, the second best cheap substitute for this was to use the tent fabric itself to improvise. From that improvisation came the thick blue rope that Holy Madam was pulling back.

After pulling this blue rope, the 'door' of the tent was opened. Winds arose when the difference in temperature between the two environments made the long skirt that Holy Madam wore flutter slightly.

Outside this huge tent, Holy Madam visualized the environment that configured its interior, it was a simple straight corridor that gave access to several 'doors': the icy floor was covered by a simple black carpet, the darkness of the night was burned away by the light from the yellowish lamps, the camp's stench was inhibited by the scent of the pinkish-white flowers kept inside small earthen vases.

"Holy Madam!"

In front of the elderly woman, a man in silver-white robes who was 3 times younger than she appeared. On his shirt, there was a design of a white castle similar to the one on the back of her robe. The man had his head bowed down, afraid to even look at the lady's feet in front of him.

"Poamo, I already told you that I don't like to be called like that by you."

"But-!"

The man had no chance to complain, literally.

After all, that lady didn't even give him a chance to breathe!

Lips attacked lips! The man's hairless mouth was invaded by a fierce tongue!

"Your husb-!"

Another deep kiss sealed their mouths, leaving no room for half words!

"Say another wrong word and you die, idiot."

"Yes, Mad- I mean, Banaturia."

"That's better. Let's go to my room, we have a lot to do!"

"Ok…"

Banaturia held her lover firmly and dragged him to her room. The poor man had to work hard afterwards to fulfill her demands, struggling for two hours straight before collapsing from exhaustion. He tried so hard that he couldn't help thinking to himself how nice it would be not to have this tough responsibility.

"Poamo, you did well this time." Banaturia smiled, satisfied.

Her current appearance was not even remotely reminiscent of the fragile young lady she was a moment ago. Short? Low weight? Weak intonation of voice? Poamo would beat the first bastard to utter such words in front of him at this instant. He didn't bother to sit on the edge of the bed like Banaturia, he continued to lay on the bed.

His golden hair spilled across the velvety soft bed with a red fabric like grated cheese being poured over a round pizza. His smooth skin was drenched in sweat, reeking more than unwashed dog fur.

"Thank you, Banaturia. You are great as always."

Even though he didn't have the strength to get out of bed, the man didn't dare delay his compliments. The Holy Madam just smiled as she looked at the funny figure of Poamo, she then got out of bed to change into her normal clothes.

"Very well, my dear, you behaved very well today. Unfortunately for you, however, I'm not in the mood to continue our little game anymore." Banaturia bent down to pick up her underwear, revealing her plump ass to Poemo.

The last one, however, didn't even want to look at this terrifying thing.

"That's my bad luck, it's a shame we can't continue our beautiful dance." Poamo's heavy sigh followed this sentence, making Banaturia laugh heartily. Smiling, the Holy Madam had just finished getting dressed when she approached her lover.

"Okay, how are things at our White Neverwinter Castle? I heard they promoted another Holy Knight. I wonder if you have information about this junior to give me." She was beside Poamo, fiddling with her nightstand.

"Yes, they promoted another Holy Knight. The name of this newly promoted Holy Knight is Jhon Klatacahara, who has been baptized as Earth Tranquil. He came from Elgin County and has the Dom of manipulating the earth."

Banaturia pulled a makeup kit out of the nightstand drawer before starting to apply the beauty products to her own face. In front of the mirror, her eyebrows furrowed.

"The Dom of manipulating earth?"

"Yes, the Holy Sir has that ability."

After applying purple lipstick to mask the effects of the vasoconstriction: which caused her lips to turn purple due to the intense cold, Banaturia contracted the corners of her lips upwards.

"What's he like? He is strong?"

"Very, very strong. As for the appearance, it is quite unique. He has short arms and legs, with his fat belly being the biggest highlight on his body. Also, if I'm not mistaken, Earth Tranquil is bald."

The corners of her lips were turned up until Poamo started talking about the appearance of the Holy Knight, Earth Tranquil.

"Fat? Urgh!"

The muscles in her face contracted like worms in the abyss's fire.

"These brutish men are always ignorant and dirty!"

"..."

"Fortunately, you are very different from this barbarian junior of mine." Her hands touched Poamo's face and her eyes went straight to his thin body. Poamo had long blond hair, with his eyes being the color of honey and his height being just under 1.7 meters (5' 56').

"Yes…"

"You said he is very strong, but I still don't understand one thing: what does his power do?"

"Oh, Earth Tranquil has the power to cause earthquakes."

Banaturia's eyelids twitched at the mention of that last word.
