Blue Steel

A great calamity forced majority of humanity to hide on underground shelters in order to survive, with the exception of maritime forces underwater or those out in the open sea.

While the humans were waiting for the surface to become "liveable" again, a group of shadow-like entities took over a quarter of earth's maritime forces. The ships they took over were upgraded drastically and Although they were few, they quickly eliminated major harbors and land settlements thru surface and intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Military forces stationed at the north and south poles rallied together for one final stand. Unfortunately, they terribly lost the war. They were clearly overpowered.
Before retreating, they heard a voice saying "Heed my words. Stay underground and spare yourselves from death. Struggle and you shall die"

Sixty years later in an underground shelter, Blake Fier couldn't endure living underground anymore and planned to try his luck by going up in the surface. What greeted him were crazy adventures and countless struggles for survival. But just as when he and his comrades thought they had a chance of taking back the surface for all of humanity, they discovered that this simple invasion by the shadow-like figures was way too far from being simple at all.




I'll introduce a touch of Fantasy on this novel which revolves around ships. I hope I will make a good book out of this. Chapters will be Slow, like a running snail. Comments on how to improve and criticisms about my mistakes are greatly appreciated. Bad comments regarding slow update speed will be met with a "I swish my cape at you" treatment.
