As Stahl's horde advanced, the enemies tried to defend themselves with all their might, but they had no power to fight back and were easily killed by the fast-moving and strong cavalry. There was no commander in charge of the frontlines; those nobles never liked to mingle among the commoners and often stood around the king, leaving them helpless against the horde.
