I was a soldier, sent in the frontlines by the Rovelin Kingdom. But we were conquered, and succumbed to our loss.

I was then kidnapped and tortured in exchange for the information I will reveal. But I hesitated to confess any detail about my country, and the price I paid was my death.

They left my exhausted and dying body on an abandoned icy bridge at the outskirts of the land.

I pleaded for bystanders to come, but there was none. And so I accepted that I will soon meet my end at that bridge.

Until Death took pity and brought me with him.
I was reincarnated as the angel of death.

And I was tasked to do one thing.

And that was to grant the last wishes of the deceased souls before they are reincarnated.
