Chapter 33: Coward

"Ew....!"

Tristan who was slowly reaching the heights of euphoria stopped his running thought and opened his eyes looking down at her in disbelief.

"I am not touching it. It's too big to fit in my hand" saying she stood up and turned herself showing her back.

" You calm it yourself" saying she walked as fast as she could and shut the door of the gaming room leaning against the wall next to the door.

Inside the room, Tristan stood with his pants down while his eyes looked at the closed door in disbelief.

He felt like falling straight on his face after making him climb the biggest height. His lips twitched in anger when he realized what she had done.

"I will take revenge for this. Ashley just wait" pulling his pants up he walked into the restroom and emptied himself before he walked out with a grumpy face.

Ashley couldn't believe how bravely she rejected his plea and walked out leaving him hanging.

She tried to convince herself that it was just helping but when she saw his cock which was bigger than her imagination her resolve broke and the rest was just history.

'What he must be thinking..' she said biting her nails as she waited for Tristan to come out.

Noah as usual got ready to leave when his eyes caught the sight of Alice's door which was closed.

"Is she still sleeping?" he said looking at the watch in his hand and frowned.

Brushing off his thought he walked ahead and stopped," I think I should just check on her once"

Noah didn't want to invade her privacy but something inside made him stop.

Returning he stopped in front of her room and rang the bell. He waited for her to open the door but when she didn't he began to get worried.

He again ran the bell and waited for about a minute when the door opened and he saw Alice standing in front of him.

He was about to talk to her when all of sudden she rolled back her eyes and saw herself lose her balance.

"Alice" calling the name he reached to hold her and found her completely unconscious in his arms.

Noah stood clueless finding her faint just like that... carried her to her room and place her on the bed before he made a call to the doctor.

Soon the doctor came and checked her.

"What happened to her?" Noah asked the doctor.

"I don't think she is taking care of herself," the man said and stood up to face him.

"Is she taking any pills?" he asked and saw Noah shake his head.

"I will prescribe her some medicine make sure you give it to her when she woke up" saying the doctor left from there.

Noah by her bedside and looked down at the sleeping figure that looked a little pale from her natural face.

'What kind of pills doctor was referring to' he thought staring at her face before he pulled out his phone and made asked his assistant to bring the medicines.

Ashley paced in the room thinking about how was she going to talk to Tristan about what happened earlier. She was an inexperienced person when it came to sexual activity and when she saw his hard rock member waiting for her attention she couldn't think straight and ended up rejecting him.

"I don't think he will ever talk to me again," she said pacing back and forth and recalling the time when Tristan just walked passed without glancing at her.

She knew she had upset him but what was she supposed to do when all of sudden her inner fear pinched her thoughts making her act like a coward.

"Argh!! why is everything getting so.. complicated" she pulled her hair in frustration and slumped on the couch inside her room.

Why did she back out when she had already made up her mind," Stupid Ashley now what are you going to do..." she said and felt like crying on her stupidity.

Alice's apartment

Stirring in her sleep Alice fluttered her eyes slowly opening them. Her eyelids still felt heavy due to excess sleeping which made her hard to open them.

Slowly pulling herself up she looked around herself and frowned," How did I reach here" she muttered recalling the time she opened the door and saw Noah standing in front of her.

"Where is Noah?" she said and climbed down from the bed when the door to her bedroom opened and her footsteps.

Noah stepped in carrying a bag in his hand and smiled looking at her," You're awake"

Alice watched him walk freely inside her room which made her doubt what exactly happened after she opened the door.

She watched him walk past her and place the bag on the side table before he turned to look at her," Why are you standing there come let us eat something first"

Alice dumbfoundedly walked towards the bed and sat like a confused pet,' Why is he smiling at me like a fool?" she thought and saw him bring the spoon full of porridge to her mouth.

"Her have it" his actions were making Alice feel like a patient who was sick and her mother was taking care of her.

She looked at him for a while and said," What are you doing here" she couldn't stop asking.

His freely roaming inside her room without her permission was already popping many questions inside her head.

Noah sighed and pull back the spoon keeping it inside the bowl and looked at her, "You fainted"

His words made her frown, even more, when all of sudden she remember taking the sleeping pills as she couldn't fall asleep with just one.

"Are you taking any pills..." his words surprised her but she soon composed herself and averted her gaze from meeting his questioning one.

Noah saw her ignore the question that made him shut his mouth and leave the topic as it is. He didn't want to sound like a pushy person asking about her private stuff but the way she looked pale made him think through it.

"It's okay if you don't want to talk. I can understand it but" he stopped and pulled out the medicines from the bag passing them to her and continued," You need to take them after you eat something"

Alice looked at his hand and took the medicine before nodding her head," Thanks" she said in a whisper which was hardly able to hear.

Noah didn't talk anything further and took back the bowl before bringing the spoon close to her mouth," Eat this" he said, and saw her open her mouth taking porridge in her mouth.

Alice didn't object and ate it avoiding his intense gaze. Something about his stare was making her feel uncomfortable. She was a pro at handling men but this man next to her was intimidating her with his action.

'Is he feeling pity for me' she thought after she finished the entire bowl and saw him turn to bring the glass of water.

"Drink the medicines now," he said and she nod her head taking the glass from him before she gulped the tablet.

Alice who never felt like being pampered like this before felt a little strange to be taken care of by a stranger.

After making sure Alice had taken her medicines Noah stood up to leave when stopped and turned to ask," You shouldn't take sleeping pills when you know it has side effects on your body" saying he turned and walked out of the room leaving Alice startled by his remark.

"How did you-" she was about to ask when her eyes went to see the bottle on the side table and her mouth shut.

Alice never like anyone to see her weak side because she liked to keep them to herself. It was only Ashley who knew about her sleeping disorder but there was also one who knew her secret now...
