Synopsis
A giant tree popped up in the middle of the Atlantic ocean covering the world in a strange new radiation and because of it, people began to change.
First, there are the Chosen. These super humans have only slight physical changes and yet can manifest amazing elemental powers.
Next, you have the Infected. These humans have experienced large scale body changes which range from animal adaptations to simply grotesque body decomposition. Most are still normal and sane humans who attempt to adapt to life while being shunned by others. There are some however that have grown deranged and think themselves the rulers of the world.
Our MC lives a somewhat lonely life while sometimes being accompanied by his rather senile yet kind grandfather. He has no idea where his parents went after they dropped him off a few years ago, so he has no choice but to stay here. He lives by the idea that he should just be air and not be noticed in the slightest. All of this goes ok until things start changing and Laz starts getting dragged around in many different directions.
Welcome to a story of Gods, evolution, love, adult situations and basically bringing a bit of eastern fantasy to western civilization.

100 chapters in at the time of this review. This book is elite, highly recommend it to any prospective readers. the author has crafted a world that draws you in. Everything from the mc to the side characters and the world itself is attractive. No real major flaws this book will be receiving my stones and tickets.๐
I read up to about chapter 28, but I just couldnt buy the characters choices. He gets roped into becoming a drug dealer or worse, his bouncer, for no reason at all. He's the land lord, and he's in the position to be a witness, and he's the kid with no motive. Anything happens to him and it's all over for that guy. He's got the power, but he caves like a total beta, yet it's clear that's not where the author wants to go with the MC. It looks like the author wants the MC to become some, raging, alpha, badass from the 80' or 90's who smokes, deals drug, drives a bike, and bangs girls that look and act like hookers. Sorry, even if it made sense, it doesn't, that's not actually so cool. Cool wouldn't have to try so hard to look cool.
this is my honest opinion about this novel: i have expected more from it especially how it started, like how the mc was a loner and how mature he was for his age (the author proclaim him to be)and all those things. it all start to go down for me when kat died and instead of him getting more mature is almost like he's getting more childlike. he was given a mission from his grandfather to seek out his parrents and to get stronger, and honestly form me he hasn't been focusing on those things. its more getting girlfriends and when they leave him or when he needs to leave then all he feels is lonely and being worry almost all the goddam time. he's been traing for one and a half year and yet other just easily get to his level and by other I mean the girls. so many ups and down that instead of making the story greater its just making it worst. one of the thing i hate the most is how long it takes for the mc to increase his strength. he also loses a hole year unconscious in some kind of spirit world and the benefits he got from that is not worth mentioning. last but not least his life and death is in hands of some blue hair girl till now I don't even know who the **** she is. if you guys stil want to read it give it a try I'm even suprise at my self that i have read it till chapter 223 but to me its not that great. i will keep reading it just to see how it will end.

I'll be honest the beginning of the story is quite interesting but the longer I read it gets boring. mc lives just running away, the typical coward mc who believes himself if he runs away his woman will be safe even though the woman can make a big organization with effort and practice, and mc barely never trained to increase his strength mc was just adventuring to find a new harem and get plot armor, and mc is a true hypocrite he always saves women be it bad or good and mc will ignore anyone as long as it's a boy. mc is a typical kid who thinks he's an adult because he's killed people. and for people who want to read this novel, make sure you really don't read any more novels because this novel is just to spend free time waiting for another novel to be released. I hope the harems that MC left behind get a man who has a backbone, not a cowardly kid, I hope this novel becomes an NTR so that other women can be happy instead of waiting for a stupid mc who travels the world looking for a new harem again.
I love this story. The character design is done well and most all of the characters are very interesting. The author is very good at getting emotions across in his writing as well. You hate who the author sets up as a villain and feel sad when you are supposed to. I would highly recommend this novel.

So I mean. I finished volume 1. I have very mixed feelings about this. The world, story, development, mystery are all superb. The writing quality is excellent. The update frequency is rather low but Iโm just glad they are still going. Now for the negatives. It seems that every single person the MC becomes invested in emotionally or physically romantic or not just gets shipped off somewhere or dies. The first two women he liked they just moved and ghosted. The second romantic encounter he develops a strong bond and feelings with the woman for her to die in his arms. I guess Iโd just like maybe one(?) partner whoโs and excellently written character to not be killed off as soon as they are fully fleshed out? Itโs just a downer and makes me not want to keep going because they made such interesting characters, and it would feel like a replacement or copy to have someone with a similar personality or way of talking. Iโll keep going for the 2nd volume and hope it gets better in that regard because I truly do like the story and will update my thoughts at that point here. Thank you author hope youโre well.

Honestly one of the best originals on this site. My only regret is that so few people get to see this masterpiece under the tons of fluff on the site, but since the author hasn't signed any contracts with Qidian to give away his story, hopefully he can make it into a book and have it published. The book as a whole is nice but to me it's exercise in frustration and don't tell me that's how 14y olds behave, killing changes you and he isn't thinking strait. Sure I could agree that he is hormonally challenged but when it comes to a pretty face he always mellows out out, why? Cuz s*x, that's why. The rest is pretty nice minus the bog standart cultivation novel plot armor. He finds this plant that ravages his body and making it more powerful but giving him structural damage that would cause problems later. Oh look the nearby pond has just the thing... (Dripping with sarcasm)... What a coincidence.
Love it and cant wait for the story to progress more. Love how its going already. Cant wait for more chapters to come out. +1 new devoted fan
This is spoiler free if you want light spoilers read my other review This book summed up is a culmination of various familiar mythological characters mergers into a unique understanding of them all and how they relate. It has to be one of my favorite novels on this app. With the first 2 volumes being the peak of fiction throughout every single nove I have read ever in my life. The only reason I would be wary it that around volume 4 it gets slower and some readers drop it but the journey is to die for. As well as the update schedule being inconsistent in the date posting.
