“Goddammit, wake up! Don’t you dare die on me! I swear, if you make me regret jumping from that fucking moving ship—!”
Her lashes fluttered, blurred by seawater and tears.
“Are you awake?” the voice came again. He was closer now, his breath warm against her cheek. “Can you hear me?!”
“I’m begging you… Don’t tell anyone you found me… Someone tried to kill me…”
His brows furrowed. “What…? Were you pushed overboard?”
Georgia barely managed to nod. But her body had had enough.
“Yes…”
Then the memories crashed back. Salt water, freezing winds, her body going numb in the ocean…
“Don’t come any closer!” she hissed. "I swear to God, I’ll scream if you come one step closer, you pervert!”
“I know you...”
Nick stiffened. “What now?”
“You murdering son of a bitch!” she roared.
Georgia grabbed the nearest pillow and hurled it at him.
“What the hell? Are you insane?!” he barked, dodging the pillow.
“You’re Nicholas Knight! You killed my brother!”
Seeing her trembling, he lifted her effortlessly.
“Let go of me!” she shrieked, squirming violently.
“Stop—shit!” Nick lost his balance.
“Maniac!” she declared.
That’s when he felt it. Something soft. Plush.
His head dropped like a guillotine blade, fast and sharp. His eyes locked on his right hand, which was currently cupping her like he was holding a fragile fruit from the gods.
His soul left his body. But his body betrayed him. He was as hard as rock in an instant…
Eyes bulging, jaw dropping, Nick choked on a curse. “Fuck.”
Too bad he whispered it directly into Georgia’s face.
Georgia's knee rocketed upward like a heat-seeking missile.
“How dare you touch me, you Captain Pervert! Murderer!” she hissed like a vengeful sea witch.
Nick wheezed in pain, clutching his groin. “I saved your life…”

I know this is a new book, but I'm already addicted and in pins and needles waiting for the next chapters. I would probably spend night after night awake reading it. It's good to read the development of the relationship between the MC's in the island, curious to see how it would be once they return to the city.

Oh add this book to your list now !!!! It is soooo good. Its not the normal rich ppl being cheated on and shallow relationships kind of story. Yes people are rich and people cheat lol... but its so much more. The ML is a ship captain and sure he is loaded but I kept forgetting that fact when he is more sea captain than playboy billionaire... even if he's a playboy lol. He loves getting his hands dirty and is the sexy cheeky playboy/ sexy sea capt/ trained survivalist/ loyal leader/ genius strategizer/ independent heir/ hopeless romantic in training/ softie/ honest sweetheart and willing to do anything for the people he loves. Its refreshing to have a ML who doesn't hide his feelings out of stubborness or fear once he realizes he has them. The FL is just as amazing and is more capable that anyone realizes. She smart and funny and determined and has a huge heart. They are thrown into so many situations that force them to make choices that frankly shock themselves lol and make things much more exciting. He's a hero who can't help but save the girl and she's far from a damsel in distress that has no fear of jumping in and saving someone even if it puts her in danger. They are both stubborn enough to fight for their own dreams and goals but smart enough to admit when they need help or we're wrong.... which is refreshing lol. All I have to say after starting this is.... where can I find me a sea captain like this lol!!! I even started it over once I read all the available chapters just to see the little things I may have missed hahaha. love it!!!!!! .

Well, we've all been warned 😅 The book really do have those in a creative and beautiful way that you will feel the love between the characters underneath their struggles. The mature content wete not forced and not indecent at all, a lot of funny scenes too, I kept laughing while on the bus 🤣 I am addicted too, Author!
