Having lost his parents at a young age and not having access to a home since it had burned to the ground after a sudden outburst of flames, Arthur was taken in by the council of sorcery. Not because they had felt sympathy for him but simply due to the fact that even though his parents had been burned to ashes, Arthur did not even have a single scratch on his body.
Now intrigued by the boy, the council of sorcery sent their most obedient servant; the one they call “the inspector” to relocate Arthur into a prestigious school so that his strength could bloom so that they could have a powerful ally in the future. Even so, the council of sorcery commanded that the school treated him like trash. This was because Arthur’s parents were quite powerful in their prime and as such were sought after by the council of sorcery. Even though it was an amazing offer for Arthur’s parents, they refused which invoked the long lasting rage of the council of sorcery.
In a world full of factions that try to sway the tides of power to their own side, Arthur must now learn how to grow strong so he could finally find the person who had killed his parents and get revenge for the years of torment that the council of sorcery had put him through. Although he just might get quite a bit more than he bargained for.

Note: This story will be quite long since there are a lot of things that need to be covered in the story. Sadly though, I’m fueled by compliments so the more people that enjoy this novel, the more I can write. Schedule plan for this novel is 2 chapters a day, 1000+ words each or if does quite well, it will be moved up to 3 chapters a day (same number of words each).

Hope you enjoy this novel though, happy reading.

Write a reviewVery interesting story. Good transition from Arthur's past to the present. I like the flow and how detailed the world and the characters are. Being oppressed and hated just because they don't understand him, made me really want to root for Arthur. Well done and keep up the good work!
I love what I’ve read so far! I’m at chapter ten currently, and this story is so good! I love how the beginning starts with that traumatic past moment, you as the author really have a way with words! The way you describe what happens to Arthur’s family gives me the heebie jeebies and I also wonder why that happened, which I guess will be explained as the book goes on. I also found certain parts of the book to be comical, especially Arthur’s attitude and how he reveals his magic knowledge at first :D best is that it’s because the girl makes that comment. There is a big sympathy that I feel for Arthur as people keep treating him badly )X though it is intense the anger and bitterness that would come with his desire for revenge against those who have affected his life and bullied and tormented him. I think it will be interesting to see how the plot turns out, if Arthur will be consumed by his desire for blood and vengeance or if he will continue finding purpose in using his abilities and being able to go to different places to explore his magic and journey with others or potentially a love interest too! Looking forward to seeing and reading more of what’s in store for Arthur! Thanks for writing and keep up the good work dear author!
This is a reupload because I had stopped writing and I've been trying to get back into it. First 100 chapters are edited and you can expect them to be published at a rate of 2 a day. _________ Author’s shameless review. To be upfront with my work, I would rate the first 84 chapters 3.5-4/5. This is with being a bit harsh as with every new work I make, I try to significantly improve my writing as seen with the difference between my first and second novel which the second one was given a lot more praise than the first one in the comments. An improvement that made in this novel was that I removed the dragged on mysteries which were a complaint in my second novel. Even so I would have to say this work is at max a 4/5 which it gets mainly because of the world building in the story (until chapter 84). If you actually take time to appreciate the vast world in this novel, you would understand why even with the flaw of having bland side characters, I would give this novel a 4/5 simply because of how much there is to learn about the world in this novel. The current world in of itself is already written well in itself however the history of it which will be revealed in the later chapters will be a nice added touch. As for the point on bland side characters, I did not realize how bad this was until it was brought to my attention. Although I had received a comment about it previously, I thought it was some sort of mistake until a I saw a detailed review that I received on it which made me realize a new aspect of writing that I needed to work on. I had received this comment on my second novel when this novel was written to chapter 84 and I believe I have improved quite a lot since then. This is the reason why I believe that you, the reader should invest into this novel since although the side characters will be bland in the first 84 chapters with a couple of them gaining some character development since they will important to the later part of the story, after chapter 84, this novel starts to take off in the right direction. I don’t want to get your hopes up too much but I believe that the story is worth a rating of 10/5 after the improvements made to the characters. Just kidding… totally. Keep in mind that I am not saying that if you don’t enjoy the novel in itself that you will somehow fall in love with it after chapter 84 since I don’t want to waste your time. All I am saying is that if you like the world and the concepts built into it but feel that the characters could use some work, I suggest you wait until chapter 84 onward before you begin to think about dropping it. Of course feel free to stop reading the novel if you feel that it just is not for you at any moment. Upload schedule: 2 chapters a day with 1000 words each as long as it is received well since it gives me motivation to write more and better. Harem?: No. I have tried to write harem into my previous works but they simply do not work with the types of main characters that I create. There will be females that will fall in love with the main character but most will not stay with him forever. Editing chapters: I have reviewed and looked for errors in the first 40 chapters, if they novel does well, I will edit all of them and improve them as much as possible. I hope that answered all you questions but if you still have some questions, feel free to ask and I will answer to the best of my abilities.
I admire the concept as well as the plot. It's as if the novel keeps you hooked and refuses to let go. The writing quality is good, but could use some work, as it gets a little confusing in the second chapter. However, that's just subjective. Other than that, I recommend this novel to anyone interested in fantasy and magic! Great story, and keep it up!
Amazing story from what I've read so far, and definitely one of the better ones I've seen on webnovel. Arthur is a very cool and interesting character to follow, especially in the vast world you've set up. The plot kind of builds up in a way that makes you want to keep reading — along with seeing what kind of developments Arthur and the rest of the cast have. Great work author, rooting for you !
Awesome story so far, especially chapter one, which balances info and story. I love the way it explores the main character explores that magic/power system in the world. Some chapters have great cliffhangers, but certain chapters could definitely have worked as a single one. The writing quality is very vivid and flows well. There are a couple of comma/semi-colon errors, though, but it's nothing major. Another thing: I personally prefer when smaller numbers from twenty or below are spelled out, but that's subjective, I guess.
The speed at which you write is so amazing. I would give more than five stars if I could for the stability of updates because I am honestly so impressed on how fast you get updates out, looking at the timeline. In terms of story, I'm a little confused on whether this is in the modern era (I think it is) or a historical/medieval fantasy. The MC is overpowered but that is a normal trope that people use, but the fact that his only motivation is to get women and revenge is a little off-putting as a female reader. Keep up with the good work!
The mystery at the beginning raise a couple of questions in your mind, leaving you craving for answers. Everyone wants to what comes of the boy's life after such a tragedy. I recommend this to those who are into first paced stories with interesting plot and characters. Best wishes for author.
The story is fine with good potential. Also has a good interesting storyline. With more features, this would become a click! Grammar and pacing is fine and I loved the character. Well, all in all, Loved it and good luck! [img=recommend]
I just saw that all the novels you created were about cultivation amd system. You are great author! As I went through the first chapters, I knew this is gonna keep me hooked. I wish to recommend this to everyone. Wish all the best! Keep going author!
Two words: Poor Arthur. Like seriously, the boy went through such a traumatic experience. Also, the cloaked thing (which, in my mind, I assumed was like an eveil Grim Reaper-looking demon) is so scary. If I saw it, I would faint on the spot lol. I hope Arthur gets to the bottom of the truth and avenges his parents death. Overall, I enjoyed what I've read so far. Definitely adding this to my library so keep up the good work, author!
Am so inlove with this story and how the author gives detailed description. It's well plotted and looking forward to reading more chapters this story is so amazing
I like the way this author starts this novel with coflict and we as readers crave for conflict. As I continue reading, I just hope that Arthur will get his revenge and find out who killed his parents.
A very interesting novel. The worldbuilding is very good, I enjoyed thoroughly how the author was able to interpret everyday items in a more magical way. Moreover, the magic system, while never explained, is intuitive. It is easy for the reader to understand and pick up. The writing, while relying on certain phrases and words, is very solid. If grammatical mistakes bother you, then you should not worry about this novel. The main character, Arthur, tries to force sympathy at times. I understand that everyone looks at him like trash and garbage, but the sheer number of times this is referenced is a little much. This, though, is all my opinion. The story development is fast paced, and throws you straight into the action, leaving little to no time for boredom. This may be detrimental to those who enjoy lingering stories, but for those that enjoy action, it is a perfect fit. Overall, this is a very good fantasy novel with an interesting premise. I would recommend it to those who enjoy a lot of fun and fast paced stories. Happy writing, author.
What a great start , and the novel involving magic is one of my favorite genre. I am gonna stack the chapters so please keep updating dear authore. Good work and all the best ❤❤🔥🔥
I'm basing this off of the plot twist that happens. It doesn't fall into the cliche that you often see, although it starts using a good one. The story development is actually good, unexpected, and makes you look forward. The MC's background is developed well enough and I enjoy all the unique mechanics this world has to offer.
The plot itself is engaging, filled with many new concepts and a fascinating magic system, and the characters are well-developed. I'll give it a five-star rating overall, with my sole complaint being that the pacing seems too quick and there are too many time jumps.
Excellent story, I like the flow of every chapter and how Auther seems to be just having the time of his life in each. Also, funny how they know he is overpowered buts still bully him, like you should be cleaning his shoes with your tongue to get on his good side.

Great and intriguing story. It is fast-paced and engaging. It traps you from the beginning as the mystery that surrounds Arthur's life keeps you reading. Good writing quality and impressive world background. I must say this is a great novel. [img=recommend]
