Damon pursued, ready to conquer while Alexander ran, trying so hard to remain cold and guarded.

Damon smirked.
"I know and I am unapologetic for being that way. Alexander, I am going to do whatever it takes to make you mine." Damon smiled painfully, his voice serious as his eyes burned into his.
Alexander was lost for words. At least Damon was being brazenly honest about his intentions.
Knowing that did not help to lessen his overwhelmed state at the bold declaration.
Now, Alexander knew this man had his eyes set on him but what was he going to do about it.
Run or give in to his desires. Desires his mind was still coming to terms with.
Running was the safer option because uncertainty was not his greatest suite.
But... this man had assured him that he had no problem chasing him.
Alexander knew he was doomed...so sweetly doomed.
