Destined heart: Love in the shadows

Ariane, a young girl who has always had everything she could possibly want, is forced to leave her city after learning a shocking truth that rocked her world. She ends up in a strange place with strange people, and the only person who can truly understand her is her best friend.

She comes across a cold, inhumane man who appears to despise women and is only concerned with his work, but she is forced to enter into a contract with him in the name of his grandfather.

"You must be joking; I will not be able to do anything in your favour." Glancing away, she said with a straight expression.

She was taken aback when she noticed him lean closer.

"This benefits not only me, but also you... you owe me a lot, Miss Niles." He said.

His hot breath faned her face as he had a little smirk on. She was having trouble thinking as his scent invaded her mind and his hot breath touched her face.

"I-I can not lie to your family..."I don't want to get involved with them either." She replied as she avoided her gaze.

"You really are strange Miss Niles, you won't be seeing them often...'sighs' do you really think I like this? Or the slightest, you?" He said which made her look at him.

His dark grey eyes made her wonder.
'is he really human? I need to teach this man a lesson.'

She thought and forced a smile before nodding
