Chapter 84: Preperations and Gathering
Things are going really slow with Kiba. Haven't had much inspiration lately. But thats why I had major inspiration with HP/DxD: Raven. It's up to ch 20, I have been writing on the other fics, all while brainstorming ideas for Kiba. It will come to me. It always does.

Sunday Morning. Day after the festival.
Every one of the top echelons was slowly gathering in the dining room. Only Riser and Revel were here from their side.
Isaiah informed them that they will be reviewing their plans for tonight. For the Young Devil Gathering.
"Veldora was scarfing down food. For breakfast, there was a large variety to choose from. Egg Benedict, Pasta, pizza, sandwiches, rice, fish and miso soup. Everybody could choose what they wanted to eat.
*Chew,chew,chew* "DELICIOUS" *Nom,nom,nom*
Tiamat got a few tick marks on her forehead just from listening to Veldora scarf down food.
In a childish race with Gasper to see who can eat the most. But Gasper was smart and put a sound barrier around him and didn't eat like an animal.
*Nom.no- BAM*
Tiamama grabbed him by the head and threw him into the wall. Leaving a Veldora-shaped imprint before he fell to the ground.
"... Okay, I deserved that"Veldora called out
Laughter and Chuckles soon followed
Isaiah tapped his glass with his fork. The clinking sound gained the attention of the rest.
"Now that we are all somewhat awake and fed. It's time to talk about Tonight. We have already made the plan but one last check won't hurt anybody. Let's start from the top.
The Young Devil Gathering starts tonight. As is included in the name, it's where Young Devils go and show off their strenght in rating games. Many foreign guests are coming to this gathering. I have no doubt in my mind that the Biblical Faction will try and convince them to join their Alliance"
Rose nodded and spoke up "I have heard back from Asgard. Lord Odin and his new bodyguard will be attending. For further security, Baraquiel from Grigori will be escorting them"
"Oh and I just got news this morning. Lugh from the Celtic Pantheon will be there as well." Gasper smiled proudly.
Isaiah instantly knew where he got the news from " Well done Hacker Brando. You are one step closer to becoming as cool as Dio."
Tiamat mumbled. "Interesting. I thought it was a coincidence but it appears not. Yesterday there were rumors amongst the Sea Gods. Poseidon has left Atlantis. I assumed it was just one of his walkabouts in the deep seas as he sends his Avatar into the Mortal World. But maybe the Greeks will make an appearance in the Gathering"
Valarie glanced at Tiamat "You can communicate with other Gods?"
Tiamat shook her head "No it's like hearing a whisper from the sea. Some of the stronger Sea Creatures saw Poseidon leave. They told other creatures and if enough sea creatures talk about it, the rumors reach us Sea Gods as it is our domain."
Kurama had an understanding look on his face "It's the same with me. Well almost. Nature Gods and Sages are pretty linked. I have been hearing some random chatter. Made me laugh too, some noble devil from a lower house got killed by dryads. He boasted about his stamina and wanting them in his peerage. Got sucked dry. Quite literally"
"Auch. But still funny" Riser chuckled. He had already seen too many idiotic acts done by his people
"Hehe. Looks like this gathering will turn out more interesting than we thought" Velodra sat down on his chair. "Even without us causing all the chaos."
Kuroka nodded as she chomped down some tuna "These people have been enemies for centuries. Grudges like that won't go away that easily-nya"
Isaiah nods "So as planned I will go to the Gathering with Asia and Rose as my bodyguards. Aisa being there will make Diodora act. Trying to get close to her. Asia can just erase him on the spot. Since he was the reason she was Expeled from the church, and almost killed by the fallen so he could reincarnate her"
*Crack,Crack*
Everybody turned to Asia who was happily smiling while cracking her fingers. " I need to express my thanks to him. After all, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have met Isaiah. So I will thank him, with punches filled with gratitude and pain"
"Rose will be there because of Odin and she can protect us if something unexpected happens"
Rosswisse had a serious expression on her face "I will do my best"
I nod at her "In the meantime Ingiveld, Meredith. Dino will go and attack the Leviathan Territories. I really love old devil laws. They made it so things are heavily in their favor. Especially for the Big 4. Ingivild can legally go and kill everyone who had anything to do with the attack on her and her parents. "
Ingivild smiled as her control over her power slipped "And that's exactly what I'm going to do,"
"Well yeah, with her taking the Leviathan Territory we will have a base of operations in the underworld. Dino and Meredith will support her. Along with an army as a show of power.
Kuroka, Koneko, Veldora will attack the Nabirus family. They will also have troops but I dont think they need them"
I turn to Kuroka and Koneko, they had an evil glint in their eyes. And their tails were swishing around, looking forward to getting revenge.
"As Nabirus was involved in her family 'accident'. Ingivlid can legally take them all out that's why Gasper, Misaki, and Tiamat are heading to wreak the Gaap Family. Or what's left of them at least."
"Ehh, what about me?" Gloxinia points at himself
"Sorry Gloxinia. You are too high profile at the moment. But you will have your fun later on"
Gloxinia shrugged. "Meh. That's fine with me. I'll use the time to catch up with the new technology. Earth has loads of interesting things"
The Ruler of Alfheim attacking the Devils sends the wrong message. We are technically Allies. If I started bringing other people in this attack. The devils might just assume we are out to war. Then they will bring their whole Alliance with them
They will probably play that angle anyway. But we have the old stupid laws to back us up.
I'm looking forward to this.
~The Gathering
Inside a large ballroom with tainted windows. There were many tables with red tablecloths and a vase with roses in it. The place was filled to the brim with devils and VIP.
Rias Peerage arrived. Only Rias and Akeno were dressed for the event. Rias had a crimson red dress that fitted well to her body, complementing her curves. Her hair was styled in a high ponytail.
Akeno was wearing a black yukata. But it did nothing to hide her outrageous figure. The rest were in Kuoh Uniform. Unsurprisingly Rias received a few new members. Since Isaiah formerly known as Kiba, Koneko and Gasper left. Rias was only left with Akeno and Issei.
Rias got a new rook, knight and bishop. The new Rook, Omari from Southern Africa was a 20-year-old man who had a strong martial arts background. He had a plain Twice Critical.
Her new Knight, Lee was a swords expert from China who had the Jade Sword. Mid-Class sword type sacred Gear which increased the power of the slashes.
And her Bishop was a young mage from Golden Dawn that they convinced to join Rias's peerage. Marie was contacted by the Headmasters if she wanted to become a devil. She had no sacred gear but was very good with magic. Sirzechs's bishop is the Founder of Golden Dawn. So it was easy to reach out to them.
She was chatting with Sona and her peerage. As were the rest of the Devils. This event is for them to mingle more.
~At the High Table
Sirzechs was conversing with Azazel "Michael should be arriving soon"
Azazel nodded "According to Baraquel. Odin is coming. I put Baraquel in charge of Security"
Sirzechs raised an eyebrow "Really? I doubt Odin would require extra security"
Azazel shrugged "Just in case, there has been some unrest with the Norse Gods. Odin hasn't joined the Alliance but people are still not happy with him communicating with us"
Serafall showed up "That's to be expected. Poseidon has been spotted. He should be arriving soon. Lugh will probably show up fashionably late as always. I need a vacation, training this was a giant pain in the ass and I dont mean that in a fun way" Serafall cracked her neck.
"Well I'm off to go find my dear So-tan! Good luck" With that she skipped away leaving Sirzechs and Azazel to smile wryly at her attitude. She has been stressed out and has been having a shorter and shorter fuse as the stress piled up. Neither of them wanted to be there when she finally blows up.
In the other rooms where the Young Devils were located
*BOOOOM*
"Looks like you really want to die Zephyrdor" Seekvaira Agares spat out. She had blondish hair and red eyes.
"You stink of virginity! What's wrong with saying that? You shitty bitch" Zephyrdor said in an arrogant tone
Sairaorg decided to intervene "Stop you two. Princess of the Agares family. Seekvaira. The problem child of the Glasya-Labolas family Zephyrdor"
Zephador snapped "WHO ARE YOU CALLING A PROBLEM CHILD!"
Sairaorg just smiled and cracked his fingers " This is a bit sudden but it's your final warning. Any more than this and you will have to deal with me"
Seekvaiara sighed and put her hands down.
Zephador on the other hand just gritted his teeth as he clenched his fist "You incompetent fool from the Bael Family!" He threw a punch at Sairaorg who easily dodged and punched Zephador, sending him flying straight through the wall
"Sigh. Why do I have to be the one to keep the Young Devils in check?"
His queen Kushia came near him "Because Lord Lucifer asked for you"
"Ahhh. Thats right. Cousin Sirzechs did. To improve my reputation. Sigh.. Fine. Its more trouble than its worth but I need every bit of help.
Kushia whispered to Sairaorg. "Looks like Lord Odin has arrived"
Siairaorg frowned "The big wigs have started to gather. Be on the lookout for any trouble. You never know what could happen.
Kushia nods and goes back to her unofficial patrol
~ Back at the high table. Odin has arrived
"Ohh good work Baraquiel," said Azazel when he saw Baraquel arrive with Odin and Brynhildr
"It's been a while, you shitty old man from the Northern countryside"
Odin smirked at Azazel's comment "It's been a while, fallen brat."
Sirzechs did a slight bow "It's been a long time. Lord Odin. God of the North"
"Sirzechs I came in response to your invitation"
Serafall walked forward and did a formal bow with her dress "Welcome Lord Odin"
Odin just hummed when he saw her "Not good Serafall. A young girl like you shouldn't wear such darb clothing at a party like this"
Serafall grinned. Like she has been waiting for someone to ask that question "Well then. Mirurun mirumiru spiral!"
Serafall glowed in a multicolored light as she turned into a Pink Magical Girl.
Oh what is this" Odin looked in surprise
Serafall smiled as she did a peace sign "Don't you know? This is a magical girl"
"Hoo. Not bad. Not bad at all" Odin stroked his beard as his eyes roamed all over Serafall's body
"NEE-SAN!"
Nobody needed to turn to know who that embarrassed voice belonged to
"Cough. Lord Odin. Please be more mindful of your position. Otherwise, I will tell Lady Freya" Brynhildr coughed in her hand and glared at Odin.
"Tsk. You are even a bigger buzz kill than Rosswisse. I regret sending her away, she was less of a buzzkill and more gullible making her easier to manipulate "
As soon as Odin said those words. Laughter came from the stairs.
"Well, it's too bad old man. Coz I'm not giving her back" Isaiah said with a wide smile. Behind him on his left and right were Rose and Asia.
