Synopsis
Jhon Ariza was just another university student in Bogotá: classes, part-time jobs, rent to pay and cold coffee on the desk. Everything changed one ordinary afternoon when he found a strange vial on his table marked GACHA. No instructions, no warnings — only an iridescent liquid that, once he drank it, flooded his mind with impossible information.
It wasn’t until later, back in his routine, that the interface appeared before his eyes: a translucent screen with points, cards and powers straight out of any work of fiction. What looked like a game for nerds became something real, tangible… and addictive.
As Jhon tests the limits of his “essence,” the world begins to show unsettling signs: animals behaving abnormally, people with strange symptoms, governments that know more than they admit. His normal life is slipping through his fingers.
Now, with a gacha-like power in his hands and a planet on the edge of an unknown change, Jhon must decide whether to use it to survive, to become stronger… or to keep from losing what he still has.

Man, it's a great start to the story, it's practically turning into solo leveling before Sung Jin Woo, I just don't know if there will be portals, but seriously, how does the increased assimilation rate of character cards work? Do they need to act like them or do they grow progressively?
I'm new to reading on this app, so my opinion may not be very objective. But I've read Chinese fan fiction, and honestly, it's refreshing to read something set in a world like ours, leaving aside the ether, of course, haha. The writing is pretty decent. The dialogue between characters is concrete and respects each character's initial personality. I like how the character gains confidence, considering his physical change and the assimilation of Jason Todd. Also, since it's gacha essence, I imagine he'll go to fictional worlds. I suggest he take his home world as a base and start to grow in power in other worlds once the month of waiting in the gacha is over. Thank you for reading this review.

I say this after reading 5k+ novel that this is a ssr find. This is very good. Though I can see, not noticable, plot holes and , some, inexperience. I am going to read it till the book is finished or abandoned or removed or author dies of food poison.
It's a good story. As for advice, I have none since you're currently doing well. But I'm curious, can his ability help him find other awakened ones. Also, although I dont mind a harem, would it not be too much pressure on you since Miriam feels like a real person atp. So, adding other women who have their own personalities and are not just onaholes be too stressful, since you'd have to write theirs too or are you just gonna add summons which is totally fine. Anyways, its a good story. So far i find no fault in it,honestly, If he continues with this quality I'd say it has the potential to be one of the best gacha ffs(my opinion btw) after the marvel one. Also for a first time writer you're actually pretty good. So I'm finna ask this, are you not the alt account of some known writer?
A very interesting, well-written fiction that deals with a very interesting topic: what would happen if people suddenly awakened powers…
It's not a bad story, it's actually quite good, including the quality of the writing, the plot is actually quite interesting, it seems to be a mix of Worm with Invincible, which is pretty cool by the way. It gives us a lot of global context about what's happening around the world, something that some authors simply forget that the world theoretically doesn't revolve around the protagonist. I think that until now, I haven't found the conversations between the characters to be very coherent, I feel like there's a lack of a deeper reaction from the characters, I feel like there isn't much emotion in the conversations. It's like watching... Two dolls talking, instead of two humans, I think there's a lack of deeper emotions in the reactions, small details that unintentionally make the conversations more human. Maybe a description of a nervous touch from the character, or a description like: "His eyes widen, his pupils become points", does that make sense? Anyway, overall it's a good story with great potential, if you're reading this and don't like super strong characters from the start, this story isn't for you. The power scale is simply insane, only commented for new readers. I also don't know if it uses AI, with all due respect dear Author. I'm going to give it 4 stars in relation to the development of the story, because of the use of the "coincidence" of the Gacha power, because whether we like it or not, the protagonist's actions affect the story. Maybe I'm being petty, and I'm giving it four stars because I don't like "coincidences"? Probably so, but I'm only human, but I also have merit in what I say. The protagonist having to fall, only to get up and try again, is simply anticlimactic for him to be handed something on a silver platter. Surely the author doesn't plan on making this a recurring thing, right? At least that's what I choose to believe.
Awesome power system, world building and characters? I didn't know you could write such PEAK! I really hope you continue this!
If you want a fanfic where everything that happens is not focused on the United States or Japan, this is for you. So far, from what the author has said, he is doing a bit of world building, so we will see a bit of how the world changes in the next chapters, but without leaving aside the MC's country, which is Colombia.

nice build, great setting, has proper realistic and fictional elements and probably the 2nd best cyoa fanfic I have read. I am giving it 2nd place because only 8 chapters have come so I am waiting to see more. overall definitely a recommendation.
