Gabriel is summoned to the country of Arandella as one of five heroes, and he is tasked with saving the world from impending doom. There is just one problem – Gabriel's summoned form is that of a lowly female half-elf.

At first, he is treated to all the lavishness of a hero's life. Before long, however, he finds himself the victim of heavy discrimination, and he undergoes a dramatic fall from grace.

Ostracized and with nowhere else to go, he steels his resolve... and retreats into the dark alleys of Arandella's underworld...
