Forget it all

Jasmin was walking down the sidewalk there was a small boy just about three inches shorter than her, he was kicking a rock and kicked a medium-sized rock hard and landed right on her forehead. Jasmin screamed from the pain from her head and butt from falling. The little boy ran he was scared of the little girl. She grabbed his ankle as he was running past her.


"What is your problem?! What did I ever do to you to deserve the burden of pain? What's your name?" Jasmin cried


"I don't have a name. I'm an orphan, please spare me," the orphan boy cried.

"I'll name you fire, you remind me of bright fire burning with so much energy. If we ever meet again I will marry you if you're still alone that's a promise but you must keep your word that you'll wait for me." Jasmin helped the boy up she grabbed the basket that she dropped filled with food and handed it to him.


"You promise?" Fire asked smiling and accepting the basket, he reached in his back pocket and grabbed his mother's necklace.


"I promise." She kissed his cheek.


"Keep my mother's necklace, and always wear it so if we ever meet again I'll know it's you." he blushed and reached his arm out to her.


Jasmin took off her mother's cross and placed it around his neck, she turned around so he could put the peacekeeper with the shape of a star around her neck.


Even though they were far apart would they ever meet again? What will happen if they do meet?
