Complacency is the embodiment of ignorance. To seek knowledge wholeheartedly is the only way to banish lies and falsehoods. When your entire knowledge of the world you live in is wrong, how do ascend from unawareness?

Jeffery lives on Amer, a country descending from what was once the strongest country in the world. Now, it's riddled with revolution and war, and sealed from the rest of the world. A magical storm surrounds it, slowly chipping away at its foundations. Amer is falling, while Jeffery has the potential to rise.

He gains the opportunity to become a mage, and he tries to unravel the mysteries surrounding his world, but can a puzzle ever be completed with only the edge pieces?
