The Deathly Challengers had barely crossed the threshold when they heard his voice from beyond the darkness.
"Praise be to the Lord of Death… The entertainment has finally arrived," a man spoke, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Well, come closer… Let me have a look at Morgana's assassins."
A great chandelier comprised entirely of the blue crystals that brought light to the rest of the castle flickered to life and illuminated what was undoubtedly a throne room.

Maleagant isn't what you expected, is he? I honestly didn't. In fact, my original Maleagant looked much like your standard bulky knight in shining armor but as I was writing earlier, I thought to myself, why do the played out route? Why not mix it up and make your bad guy more interesting. I hope he is. I like how he's a heavy drinker too. lol.
I was supposed to do double chapters today, but I'm moving that to tomorrow instead as I'd brought my day job home with me... and those reports aren't going to write themselves, unfortunately. Makes me wish I had a Don Coyote zombie slave to do my bidding for me too. lol
