Guns and Coffee

Carlo stood there with a blank look in his face, desperately trying to process what just happened. What the hell was up with this day?!? His mean landlord was suddely nice to him, and his nice neighbor was suddenly mean to him. What's next? His good friend, Evan, will become his archenemy? If that were to happen, he wouldn't be surprised, not at all. After all, was he even sane right now?
At this moment Carlo was questioning his sanity.
Where was he? Did he pass out somewhere and was actually dreaming? Or did the desperation of being homeless and jobless finally made him insane?
In a confused and flabbergasted state, he dragged himself towards his room. Opening it, he dragged his body and sat on the couch. Then he began thinking about the events of the day for the nth time already.
"ARGHHHH."
Even after thinking for a long time, he still couldn't find an explanation of his predicament, he doubt anybody could. The only explanation he could come up with was that, HE WAS INSANE. Therefore he could only shout to vent his frustrations.
'Wait, let me distract myself. Think about something else, Carlo. THINK. Hmm, this couch feels nice, doesn't it? Yeah it's really nicee'
Then a terrifying taught dawned on him.
'Wait a minute..... I don't have a couch.'

Carlo was just another one of those guys who was just barely living by in this huge city. And when he finally hit rock bottom, he only saw a single rayof light that could solve his problems of being broke. A job at a cafe.
Simple as it may have sounded, entering that cafe changed Carlo's entire life.
