Chapter 1: Chapter 7 (Lilith's end)
Lilith was ready to move away to her safe house,she very angry at the fact her minions couldn't even get one key from the Locke family.But soon she felt someone was in the room before she could turn around a concussive blast of air, sending her flying before telekinetically pinned her to the wall of the room.
Lilith was strong her physiology allowed her to survive through many things such as being shot or blown up and she has huge lifespan.
Lilith quickly regained her bearing,on seeing who the attacker was she sneered and asked"So you found me at last my dear Hadrian?"
Hadrian frowned and replied"Please just shut up."
as he took out the Anti Demon key as lock appears on her chest as Lilith for the first time knew fear yelled"Please don't kill me,I can grant anything you want...please."
Hadrian ignored all the begging and said"You don't feel sorry at all,the thing you feel now is fear." as Anti Demon Key is inserted and turned as black liquid that was pouring from Lilith's eyes before her death.So in rage she cursed"You bastard...my people will come no matter how long you guard your precious doors they will crossover to this plane and take those precious keys.No matter how much you try more demons would come and you will not be able to protect that family."
Lilith died with that,she was gone Hadrian knew when the Anti Demon key was basically separating the demon from the host's soul.Aso no one could figure out the persons death as only thing a doctor can tell was that Lilith suffered an aneurysm rather than heavy metal poisoning.It was interesting concept,while Hadrian was think
Lilith downfall was her arrogance and overconfidence being an entity originated from a realm inhabited by eldritch demons called the Children of Leng.Both her parents where greater demons so she was not messed with much,but that was through luck as the demon world was were you kill or be killed.It was luck on the day she was born that her "mother" devoured half of its litter of siblings,but she was full when she reached Lilith so she was left alone.Lilth was powerful,but unlike other demons who clawed their way through using their wits and deception Lilith survived mainly because of her special ability to mind control.
After all the trouble Hadrian returned to Locke Keyhouse where Vanessa was preparing for the funeral of her husband.It was sad moment as all the three boys were young and they lost their father,Vanessa while crying muttered"Those keys took my husband from me.I don't want them anywhere near by children."
Hadrian nodded and replied"I understand."
Vanessa then softened and said"You can visit them all you want,but please don't tell them about those cursed keys."
Hadrian promised Vanessa "Don't worry I would never speak about the keys nor would speak about their ancestors."
But no matter how hard Vanessa tried to keep the children away from the Locke house,but the draw was too strong as they all went to the key house when they where 12 years old and they learned about the keys from the journals of their father and grandfather.They started taking the same route as their ancestors with Harland being gifted in making key.
Hadrian didn't guided them,it was like these boys were drawn to the keyhouse.So this was fate as they took it upon themselves to guard the Demon Door like the rest of their ancestors.Harland would go on to create incredible and unique keys that would rival his ancestor Benjamin Locke,also Hadrian did feel bad for Vanessa,who after trying her best couldn't stop her children from following this path on her death bed she pleaded"Please look after them,I know you can't be always their for them.But please try for both October and my sake."
Hadrian with sadness replied"I will try my best."with that Vanessa Locke died too and meeting her husband in afterlife.
