Her Heartache

I was doing good already, I have a life. I have friends and family. I have a good job. I am happy when suddenly things happen that would bring me back from the past. The pain, the tears, the heartaches all came to me at once when I saw him.

I laughed sarcastically at myself. Really self? That's the impact of the guy who broke your heart? Hearing him speak already weakens your knees?
